So I'm not the only one finding it hard today. I've not had anything to eat yet. I'm not feeling hungry but keep walking in and out of the kitchen out of habit. Never mind, it's almost tomorrow. Come on, we can do this. :)

It looks like I'm not the only one finding it hard today. I've not had anything to eat yet. I'm not really feeling that hungry, I just keep going in and out of the kitchen, out of habit. Never mind, it's almost tomorrow. Come on, we can do this.
I booked our New years eve night out this afternoon, that can't of helped, the menu looks great. Can't wait and just think how great we'll all look by by then :)
Dee :)
I'm starving, hating fasting in the cold weather :(
Blimey... My first successful Monday fast in AAAAGES!! Helped by hangover and TOTM nausea, though. For the past few weeks, months even, I've been failing Mondays and then feeling guilty all week putting the fast off! Despite it feeling difficult to eat today (of course that's helped), i'm just glad to have started the week with one fast under my belt! I've been trying to get back into my Mon/Thurs routine for longer than I care to think about now..

I have to check up on everyone here and see if the Americans have come to their senses and then it's off to bye-byes. It's really cold here today so the electric blanket is warming up while I browse. Nighty-night!

I beg your pardon, @Chook, but we are quite sensible here! Or were you referring to our #(*$#&% government? Who may never come to their senses, having never had much sense....
Mmmm nearly time for dindins..and a cup of tea with milk ...AND double corrie later..
Blissful evening ahead folks with feet up..dark and rainy outside, cosy indoors
Well done Monday Marvels who have already finished, about to finish, have a way to go yet x :0)
Usually do Mondays but sad news at the weekend so I knew I would not be in the right frame of mind, will try Wednesday instead.
Did it! Had evening meal and this time I am full! I am so going to do this. Hunger is no longer a problem! Next fast Thursday.
Hi all, I am back trying again after many months break. Have been researching Paleo eating but don't think I would lose weight so need to do 5:2 as well.
Found today a bit tough but got thru with the help of some M and S fresh soup for dinner. Could have a skinny latte later if I feel the need.
Keep going everyone- I feel an early night coming on! Next fast weds.
Sue

Ps does the 16:8 window help folk? I have done that today, just wondering?
Tough one for me today too.... but nailed it. Feeling triumphant beats the taste of any biscuits for me :)
Hi. I'm a Monday faster too. (And Wednesday and Friday). I'm away in a hotel this week so had to search for a supermarket. Found an Asda and bought smoked salmon, beetroot, muller light and a dairy milk little bar. Ive also eaten a small satsuma. I had five 10 cal mints during the day and a tiny splash of milk this morning in coffee. Total calories 556. A little over but very pleased.

I've been fasting just over six weeks and I've lost 16lb. I feel so motivated with this diet, it's great.

Good luck fellow Monday fasters.
Today is the start of my 3rd fast week. So far I haven't lost any weight, I read that that is normal. I have high hopes for a loss this week. My normal fast lunch is a cup of chili. It's filling and yummy. 2 eggs for Supper tonight.
Welcome to the forum Rana! I'm fasting too, looking forward to dinner in a couple hours. :)
First fast since being ill last week ... As well as first day back at work ... Class visit by 30 Y1s to library ... Almost lost voice in middle of talking to them ... And starting to plan my mother's 80th birthday party by text with a sister 250miles away ... I think that's enough for one day! :dazed:
The report, promised to @sallyo:

Well, I did so-so, I'm afraid. I did cook a lot, to leave food for my helpless-in-the-kitchen husband to eat while I'm away. I made a big pan of lasagne and a small pan of roasted vegetables. But then I had two servings of lasagne for my fast dinner, and had had a skim latte for lunch to give me the emotional strength to cook. So maybe a 600 - 700 calorie day instead of my usual 300 - 400 fast day. Like I said, so-so.

Better than skipping the fast day altogether, I guess. Trying to look on the positive side...
