Hi,
I'm in, penultimate fast before Christmas. Will be staying with family and friends so not even thinking about fasting after this week, well not until January. Good luck everybody.
I'm in! First of three this week as usual.I think we are having xmas dinner a day earlier so I might just as well fast on the 25th! We will see. Happy fasting everyone x
I'm in! Had a horrendously junk filled weekend full of sugar. I really need this fast to go well!
I'm in. Christmas has started and so I'm about to test fasting to its limits. I need a good repair day today after this weekend.
Today's fast almost successfully over. Have had dinner and will go to bed early tonight so as not to succumb to nibbling, although technically, I am finished fasting, having started after dinner last night. I do try to go through to breakfast the next day if I can, thereby consuming only restricted calories for 36 hours. It is not weigh in day until Friday, so we'll see how it goes.
Good Morning I'm in for my first fast of the week. :coffee: Good Luck everyone. :clover:
Fasting accomplished, a quick tally on MFP calculates around 500cals. Happy with that as was was also a 5 hour window. Was in dire need from my weekend shenanigans.

Happy fasting for those peeps just getting up to fast today. I am off to do some quick office work then :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy: :sleepy:
I'm off to bed now! Great fast day. I didn't need the salad at lunch so only had around 300 cals. Last Thursday's fast was aborted when fasting hubby said in the evening " are we going to be good?' Which translate as to " after tomorrow I'm on 5 weeks holiday and I feel like celebrating so let's have lots of champagne" :drink: :drink: :drink: ( our drink of choice- but don't tell his mates! ) which we then did!!! You'll be proud of me- as of tonight he is officially on holidays so this morning I called him on the way to work and said 'I've only got 3 more fasts till Christmas so I'm going to be good but you feel free to celebrate tonight , just don't ask me. ' he says OK.I And it worked! Yay!
Xxx julianna
I should be fasting today, but it's going to be more of a 16:8 as it's the choir Christmas dinner this evening

So I haven't eaten since yesterday 8pm, I'll have my skinny salad at about 2pm and then hold out until the do. I'll try to go easy on the wine, and it's a posh hotel so at least I know the portions won't be big!

I'm going to do another 16:8 on Weds and Thursday should be a normal fast, although I'm going to a works party early evening so I may need to be a bit flexible.

Was going to fast next Monday 23rd but now a friend is having a drinks party :curse:

Oh well! We can only do our best! Hope everyone else is getting on OK and good luck to all you Monday fasters. :clover: :clover:
Joining you all fasting because my weekend eating out has caused a gain of 4 whole pounds
I'm fasting today. 2nd fast since being in UK. I'm finding it so much more difficult over here (and being xmas). I've been fighting with my head all morning, it keeps telling me to give it up until after christmas. I'm trying to stay strong, I would love to lose a bit more before xmasday. It's so difficult with food everywhere while shopping. HELLLLPPP!!!!
Have a good fast everyone. :)

Nice to see the gang's all here. I have been in all day but just about ready for bed. I could really deal with some food, actually.

To top off a tough fast day, I was given a Christmas present, late this afternoon, of a bottle of wine and a large tin of Lindt Lindor chocolates.

I only have to last until tomorrow...

I only have to last until tomorrow...

Fast No. 14 accomplished. Good night everyone. This was my lowest Monday weight since I started back on 5:2. That has strengthened my resolve...

Lindt ball for breakfast though.

Faster checking in!
I ahve eaten terribly this weekend. No functioning kitchen has meant takeaway and bacon sandwiches and also much wine to reward hours of decorating.
Had to visit a Launderette to get our clothes clean and I am sure the dryer has shrunk my work trousers! They are leaving a mark across my waist and it is making me panic that I am overweight again!!
Hopefully today will repair some damage and I will try the trousers again tomorrow!!
Well done FB! :like: I love Lindt and the Lindor balls especially so can appreciate the temptation; they will taste all the better tomorrow (or actually today - I better hit the sack!), enjoy!

Good night to those in the Southern Hemisphere and a successful repair day to you in the Northern Hemisphere who are still fasting!
Oh maaan... Just passed through town, with everybody eating their lunches.. I got lunch envy so have cut my business short and heading home.. Not sure if/how that will help but at least i'm away from all the loverly smells :hungry: feels tough today, I feel physically empty! Bouillon when I get home me thinks..
