Hi Juliana

I really need to Fast, but I have decided to stick with 16/8 at the moment, is the best I can manage - and be mindful and careful of what I eat, especially keeping the carbs down low.

Had a big week end with my son's Wedding, plenty of champers and delicious food, a couple of functions over the next week as well as Christmas Lunch and New Years.

Enjoy the fast day everybody, and take care.

cheers Maggie.
I'm in. I'm off to Hobart - 4 hours drive - to deliver Christmas presents to the son and DIL and new Grand daughter, who will not be spending Christmas with us this year. My plan is: take a thermos of hot water, made a black tea on the way down and eat a normal dinner with them tonight - no wine. I'll be going to Sportscraft in Hobart where there is a 30% off sale, finishing today, and buying my 2nd pair of size 14 black pants. My size 15 are baggy - I bought them in August. Have a wonderful day everyone. It's blue and warm here for once.
I'm in today and wed. Going to have 2 proper repair days this week as I've only managed 1 for ths last 2 weeks and I can definitely feel the difference. These will probably be my past fasts for a couple of weeks with visitors arriving on Friday.
I'm going to try and get through with just water until dinner, but it I need a little something I'll go for a carrot or two to tide me over.
Have a great day everyone :)
:clover: Yes I'll join all of you later for a Monday fast I really need to repair my damage :clover: :clover: Sue :clover:
Hi all, I'm in.
Been for my swim and now off to the hairdresser to "restore me to my natural colour" for Christmas!
I'm just fasting once a week at the moment but making it a good one, usually about 300 cals, then doing 16:8 on about two other days.
I'd love to keep doing this and slowly lose a bit more weight so I'll see how it goes.
Hmmmm- Christmas and guests for a week! :?:
Well, perhaps lose a bit more in the New Year.
Have a good day folks.
I'm in today too. For me it is better not to eat anything until dinner time when we will be having a chicken stirfry dinner. I have been out with a friend this morning and only had a cup of tea. Yay me!!!
I'm in today. Will have a small mushroom soup for lunch and our usual Mexican pizza for dinner tonight. Now that I have reached my goal the pressure is off which makes it a bit harder. If it wasn't for the compliments I got for wearing my new outfit I might have given in to the m'tea time snacks on offer in the office.
I'm in. I almost don't feel like I need to be. I had a super weekend of controlled eating, with reasonable amounts of wine. For a change, my weight didn't go up drastically with two non-fast days.

Anyway, good luck everyone!
I'm in! I had a job interview this morning (fingers crossed!) and now I'm home for the rest of the day, just going to relax with a few cups of green tea and a miso if I need it, before leftovers for dinner.

I'm actually finding myself looking FORWARD to fast days - never would've thought I'd say that!!
I'm in for my weekly zero-calorie day today and will do my 'normal' fast on Thursday. Have a Christmas lunch with one friend on Friday and a barbecue dinner with some others on Saturday so should be able to manage ok this week, fingers crossed!

Wishing everyone a successful day!
How's everyone's fasts going? I'm going very strong today, very surprisingly! I've had just liquids so far which is unusual... and looking forward to chicken and salad or veg for dinner.

Stay strong everyone!
Good luck with the job MelbMandy. Feeling a bit hungry now but will wait another couple of hours to eat. How is everyone going?
Yes going well here.
I just had 30cal of strawberries to do me through till 6pm stir fry veges and then a mango-yum!
Hope your hunger stays manageable Winoclock!
I'm looking forward to not being on a fast tomorrow- we have a box of Mangos smelling deliciously all through the house!
Tonight my daughter and I are icing Christmas biscuits for her Kindergarten class- hope we stay strong!
She fasts now once a week as well.

I had the same feeling this morning. My weight has remained between 68.8 and 69.3kg since last week so I almost didn't do it. I did drink quite a bit of wine and ate some cheese but overall my calorie intake was controlled.

However, now that dinner isn't long off I am glad that I did it. Even if it's not about the weight loss I like the sound of the health benefits this one day might provide.
Even though I'm still mad at 5:2 and myself I'm going in today for another fast. Normally Tuesday for me but the kids have a Christmas party tomorrow and I fear the temptation would be too great for me to fast tomorrow. Good luck all
