I am in today although I did a repair day yesterday ( not intentionally ) I was feeling rotten all day and when it got to bedtime I realised I had only eaten 400 calories . Still not feeling great so will do my usual Monday that means that if seasonal eating duties turn up I can join in. :like: I do hope all Monday fasters have a good day :clover: :victory:
Staying strong, just made DD a bacon butty, I was going to make one for me too but quickly put just enough bacon for DD and now it's done and being eaten, by her not me. Can't wait until today is over. I've told DD we'll go out for lunch tomorrow, gives me something to look forwards to. :)

Hi Julianna,

I will be fasting today as well. I typically do not have breakfast on fast day and try to push lunch out until around 1 or 2 in the afternoon. Usually a salad with lots of veggies and one hard boiled egg - lots of water too. This usually holds me until evening when hubby comes home. Then it's chicken breast or very lean beef, another veggie salad (no egg). Then a cup of decaf tea and sometimes if I have the calories to spend , I have a slice is whole wheat toast (about 70 cals.) dusted with cinnamon. Then off to bed I go. :victory: :victory:

By the way, my grandaughter's name is Julianna -- such a beautiful name.

Resisting the tin of chocolates placed opposite my desk!
I'm in! It's not easy! Tons of holiday treats at work - I'm trying to hide! Good luck everyone!
Today is the first fast I didn't complete! Out and about with my husband and I was in a lot of pain - so he bought me a large ham salad Sandwhich at 10:30 am so I could have my painkillers. Today has mainly been about damage limitation! I have really missed my Monday fast even though I feel unwell.
I'm done for the day. 403 calories. Thoroughly needed it though! Ready for a cup of herbal tea now and I think an early night.
yep I'm done too... had some loverly sausages with courgette, aubergine and garlic... and the obligatory sugar free jelly!

Hope everyone else is doing alright :like:
I'm so sorry you're not feeling well @tickatape. I hope you feel better soon. Here are some flowers for you. :clover: :clover: :clover: . @Andi thank you for your kind comment. I like the name Julianna so much that I chose it out of a big book of saints when I was around 11 years old for my confirmation!
Xxx julianna
Just completed the day, but it's been a tough one. I was going to give in, which would have been the first time, but I was so hungry around 4pm. Instead I decided to cook up a really tasty low cal dinner, cod with chopped bacon and a little cooked rice, mixed with some turmeric, coriander, sea salt, and stuffed into whole peppers and baked. I've found this before, that cooking activity seems to dull my appetite. I think it takes my mind off actually eating right now, when I'm cooking something nice for later. I think my calorie tally was a bit over 600 by the end of the day, which is too high, but never mind.#
