Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
Brand-ie wrote: Oh I had spinach and egg on Thursday and it was amazing.
@Brand-ie, that was exactly my food for today! Made an omelet thing of it.
Didn't like the aubergine in my dinner today.
Let's remember our success last year!
I've just had some chicken stew and a slice of brown bread for dinner, and have moved away from the kitchen. So all being well a successful FD.
This sunshine is helping to focus me, as non of my last years summer clothes fit me properly yet.
@loversghost and@Mikesgrl79 hang in there. I've been doing all the right things for 6 weeks with no movement then a 2.2 kilo loss ( maybe a set point) it is discouraging but try and be patient. We experience delayed gratification with food when we say ' I can have it tomorrow) now we have to delay gratification to see the scales go down ( in my case I usually only see a drop once a month after my cycle ends) just remember that this WOE does work! ( slowly)
@Lizlozz re hamburger ( if its not too late) if you only eat the hamburger with 1 side of the bread bun you will save 70-100 calories. Oprah taught me that. I can now manage to eat a hamburger with hardly any bun at all ( but it would be a bit embarrassing to do this at the pub because I end up with a mountain of broken bun bits on my plate ( )
Xxx
Glad to have fasted today - yesterday I ate loads (10 plates for £20 at Yo Sushi, and because you could have all the expensive ones included I ended up with lots of yummy fried stuff) although over the weekend in general it was mainly nutritious stuff, if a little much of it.
Today I had a mini babybel light & 3 thin oatcakes for lunch and a butternut squash & bean enchilada thing I threw together for dinner with salad. Probably a bit over 500 but I'm not hungry and hopefully will sleep ok as am shattered.
Night all, may check in again on weds.
Hairy dieters meatloaf for dinner, with sweetheart cabbage and some rocket. Unfortunately I had to eat very early due to it being my sugarcraft club night, so I'm hungry now
@Chocobunny I would love to have a pal to keep me motivated/accountable/honest. I have to say I'm really new to the whole posting and forum realm and I'm completely technologically challenged. So, I don't know what it entails exactly, but would love to give it a shot! I didn't have the most successful fast day yesterday. I did great at work, and then rubbish at home. I'm constantly flabbergasted by my selective self control. How is it I can go all day on 2 cups of joe and then when I get home I eat everything not nailed to the floor?
Thanks for the encouragement everyone!!
I tend to do Monday and Thursday along with everyone else as there's more support on the threads then.
You up for another go on thurs? I'll be there for hand holding!
I to am fine all day but evening is my trouble time. Gonna to the gym is motivating me at the moment as I look so chunky in my gym kit
I usually try for Mondays & Thursdays as well. I am ready if you are! We will brave it together, eh? I'm all for handholding! LOL!! And with all of your success, I'm sure you are full of helpful tips and tricks.
To be buddies just means to talk to each other, on fast or feast days, via the fasting thread, the buddy thread or via PM or even in your own personal thread!

It is basically a way to engage with one person for support, gossip, confessions in the background of a nice friendly forum!
P.S to tag someone you need to click on the full editor button at the bottom right of your text box and then click tag on the top right, then type the persons name in between the boxes
Happy fasting you two
Just trying it out, I wondered why mine weren't highlighted!
Thanks
