I'm in. Feeling a little queasy today, too much oil in the pesto last night I think. So far so good, and a lovely day so spending it, inside studying  :geek:

Good luck all!
I'm fasting tomorrow (Mon.) also. I am also set with the ingredients for a shrimp quesadilla for dinner!
I'm in too. Feel like I should be eating soup today as it is cold for November and wet wet wet! Hardly any rain for the last three months and then we get the whole lot in a week. The garden was thirsty now it's drowning! Glug glug glug. Have to be extra strong to stay out of the kitchen on a day like today! Hope you feel better Wineoclock. I do hate a sinus headache!
I'm in. Good luck everyone!
Yes Denwoman I am fed up with this rain now! I stupidly didn't bring an umbrella to work either so I'm actually dreading finishing!
Sorry to hear about your headache WineO'Clock! My wife and I went down to the bay for a walk in the wind and rain. Broke every spindle on my umbrella so spent the last few kilometres soaking up nature. I've been up for five hours and just having my first bowl of soup for the day and so glad that I soup it on fast days especially when fast days are miserable winter days in the middle of spring like today! Get well soon!

Oh no. You will have to have a good exit strategy for home time! I feel like I want to put some heating on! I don't dare say what the temperature actually is or the Brits will think I'm a wimp!! Which I am of course

Oh no. Not surprised your umbrella broke!

I haven't really tried soups on a fast day. Do you just stick to vegetable so it is easy to calculate calories? I love lots of soups with pulses in but find that difficult to calculate amounts and I always want to eat too much of them as they are so delicious

Shhh, don't tell anyone that I do have my heating on.
The rain is pouring down in the inner west at the moment and it IS cold.

I have been for my swim though, it had to be the indoor pool today :frown:
It must be the weather as I am really hungry too- so weird how it varies time to time.
Oh well, fruit tea it is, then I might have a black coffee.
Roll on 6 o'clock.

I'm a Brit but I don't think you're a wimp! :D
Hi everyone,
I'm relieved it's Monday after too much partying (again!) on the weekend. It's not really even the festive season yet. I sooo need this today.
Can't believe the weather you guys are having on the other side. You have your heaters on!perth was a sweltering 35 on friday and 37 on Saturday. You'd think it would be too hot to eat. unfortunately not for me
Minimax.. I'm jealous! It is really, really cold in Sydney.
I will be crawling under the duvet after work on the sofa with the heater on!
I need this fast day but this weather does make me want to reach for the crisps.
Lil
STEP AWAY FROM THE CRISPS LIL!!!!
It was me mentioning Mini Cheddars wasn't it?!
It is very nice here today, 24 at the moment, scared a big Tiger Snake up the hill this morning so it is warming up, although the forecast is for 14 again on Wed. Hey ho!!
Yes! I don't need a lot of encouragement ;)
I could eat bags and bags of them! *sigh* the strange thing is when it comes to a feast day, crisps are the last thing I want because I don't want to waste calories on them..
it's miserable here for the next week or so!!
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. Headache gone, sinuses still achy but that's normal. Just felt particularly whingey this morning, must be the awful weather. I've come home now and put the heater on. I need the rain to stop so we can have our turf layed later in the week.
