Hi all, I'm in today. Yes Debs it is a beautiful day here isn't it. Sunny Tasmania! But rain and cold forecast for the rest of the week ....

Halfway through the day and coping so far. No food has passed my lips. Just picked broad beans from my daughter's garden but think that they may be quite high in calories for a repair/fast day.

Glad to hear that you are feeling better wineo.

Cheers all. :geek:
In today.

After last Monday's good news on the scales, today was disappointing with zero movement. My Christmas target, which had previously been moved to New Year, is now at Chinese New Year! :D
I've bombed and already had way too many calories for the day!!

I'm absolutely hopeless

No you haven't. You just moved your fast day to tomorrow.
Horrible, horrible day for Fast #6. This weather just makes you want to eat. Off to work so hopefully that will take my mind off things!
I'm in for my usual Monday fast. :)
Sounds like a few of us had quite an indulgent weekend!! It does feel good to fast after that.
Had my first miso soup, as recommended by others in a previous fasting day topic - was much nicer than Cup-a-Soup :)
Like those in Tassie, and unlike Sydney (love the photo!), Melbourne is actually having some lovely weather today. We had a misty morning, and then the sun burned thru the mist to reveal a perfect day. So nice to see clear blue sky and feel the warmth of the sun on your skin :D Not for long tho; back to miserable on Wed...
Happy fasting :D
The weather isn't improving any, I think it's getting worse. I've cut up a heap of veggies for a stir fry with chicken and zero noodles. Lots of chilli and ginger to warm us up.
This is the sort of weather for a glass of red, but not on a fast day, water will have to so.
I'm in too, took advantage of the beautiful day and did some gardening. I'm doing my usual zero-calorie liquid fast after a lovely day of eating (and drinking) yesterday.

Glad to hear you're feeling better Wineoclock, sinus headaches are the worst. Stay warm you Sydneysiders and don't beat yourself up Maggie, tomorrow is a new day!
Yes, gorgeous day here. Even warm! I'm about to go and plant an extra tomato as the black birds broke one off at the base of the stalk. also a punnet of Basil seedlings. It's grilled squid and salad for tea. I have fresh broad beans too, but perhaps you are right about calories and I'll stick to lettuce. I haven't eaten all day; cups of tea only. and meanwhile I've been cooking mini-Christmas puddings. 6 at a time in a muffin tin. Not even tempted!
I'm joining you all for my usual Monday fast.
Morning all. Second week of fasting for me, and here I am at day one. Again, due to my diary, the days have to be back to back, so I am firming my resolve this very minute!

Since my last fast I've started reading THE book, and it's clear that the scientific research shows that the the longer the actual food-free fast, the greater the benefits so, this time, instead of three light snacks, I'm going to hold off as long as possible before eating. I'd be really interested to know what all you experts think of this :-)
Good morning all!
Sounds like the Sydney fasters are having similar weather to us! Its blustry Autumn weather here in Yorkshire with some rain but not too cold for the time of year!
I am in and looking forward to losing some weight! Plateau last week but probably to be expected, not sure I have helped myself over the weekend. Had a huge spaghetti bolognaise last night!
Going all day without food then having the Chorizo and butter bean stew recipe that someone posted up - it's become one of my favourite fast day suppers.
Stay strong people! xx
I'm going to partake in the Monday fast today, several reasons 1- overeating wayyyyy too much on the weekend 2- switching up my days this week because my sister and I are going to dinner and a movie on Friday so I can't do my usual Tues/Fri fasts. Happy fasting all xx
I'm in for the Monday fast too.

We went out for Sunday lunch yesterday so only had a banana around tea time as I wasn't very hungry. Just had my very skinny porridge which should see me through until tea tonight. Not sure what I fancy for tea yet - often decide while walking around the supermarket!

It's not raining here in Hull, UK but it's forecast. And the rest of the week is looking like winter is finally arriving.
Morning, I'm in usual Monday fast
