C'mon all you fasters - it's been a big weekend, so who's joining me?

I'm contemplating a back to back for the first time...or maybe a full fast today and a relaxed fast tomorrow. I'm off supervising a school camp wed-fri, so I can't see managing my normal Thursday fast.

We also pick up the keys for the new house tomorrow, so box packing is in full swing, and next weekend is going to be a lot of box shifting (new house is an old Queenslander, set high, so I'm really looking forward to carrying all those boxes of books up the stairs! We'll get the removalist guys in to move the big furniture for us (our sofa weighs a ton!) but I'll certainly get my exercise over the next few weeks without trying!

Keep up the great work all, and may the fast be with you!
Hi Peony and Merlin. Im definately in today. Peony, supervising school camp doesnt sound like much fun but moving is exciting. I did it last year and we also got removalist to move the big stuff and then we (mainly me) moved the rest. We werent in a rush so I had a chance to clean out 29 years of accumulated stuff
Whoa, Wineoclock! 29 year worth of stuff - that is an effort! It's only been three years since our last move, and I'm amazed how much has accumulated in that time! It probably doesn't help that my Mr has shipped all his stuff over from the UK recently, and accumulated a shed full of equipment in that time...fun!

Sleep well Merlin and all of those who are living in the past (well, it is still the 27th for you all on the other side of the world!)
It's 7 PM Sunday here, and I am all done eating until dinner tomorrow.

I fasted on Weds this past week not Thurs, and I was really ready to fast today but hubby wanted company for lunch So I didn't eat anything until we ate lunch together around 2 PM and not a whole lot after.

I really find it interesting how tired I get of eating what I want after a few days!
I'm in as it is only 2 weeks until our 6 week holiday in Canada and the U S .I haven't been losing weight despite fasting twice a week but I haven't been putting it on either so I'll continue this WOE while I can.

Happy Fasting
I'm in and thankful. Lunched out both days of the weekend and had a generous afternoon tea yesterday as well. Good luck fellow fasters.
Good morning fasters. I'm in today. Was awake from 4 am until 6am, got up and read, went back to bed and have only just got up - nearly 10. I'm not going to yoga as I haven't got the money to put petrol in the car. Pay day tomorrow, so it's all ok, but I thought it was better to live within my means today. So it's black coffee, liquorice tea - my favourite on a fast day - and then prawn baked in a tomato sauce for dinner. Oh, we do it tough! This week is a 'living out of the freezer' week. Luckily it's well stocked.
That sounds yummy Sallyo. I'm in and feeling strong and ready for a good fast. Tiny salmon fillet, a few Crystal bay prawns and 2 oysters with some stir fried veges for me. Luckily for me I'm not hungry at the moment. I usually get that weird empty feeling around 3-5 pm so I'll heat up some chicken broth then. Good luck everyone!
Xxx
It feels really weird not to be fasting on a Monday. I got a bit off track by having my first real failed fast on Saturday. So I fasted on Sunday, and I'll do Tue and Thu this week…

Good luck, Monday fasters!
I am in, first for a few weeks so it may be hard. I am also living out of freezer and larder just now, payday is 1st August. Animals all have enough and we will not go hungry. I will do some chilli rice this evening and chop up some pork steak to go in hubbys.
Lots to do today. Picking up a marble topped night stand later that the cloakroom sink will go on. Should get the plumbing done for the cloakroom today. Also need to pick up some more wood to make the gates to finish enclosing the Gite garden. Then we are set for the first Guests with a dog who are coming soon. We are on a five week run of back to back bookings just now so Saturdays are busy. We have sold a total of 10 weeks now which is fantastic.
Social worker due back today so hope to hear from her!
@bobshouse, glad to hear things are working out for you!
I am in today, and have lasted so far on two apples and it is 2.30pm, so all good! I may do a back to back as I am home tomorrow and may be eating out a few times!
Good luck to all who haven't started yet wherever you happen to be!
All this back to back fasting makes me nervous, just reading about it. I haven't eaten yet. Going well so far.
I'm in too! Dinner time is coming up and I'm proud of myself, I missed lunch and have planned a salmon, steamed vegetable and salad dinner. This is the first time I've fasted without something for lunch. I just made up my mind at lunch time that I would give it a go…not saying I will manage it every fast day; I may not even decide to. But it is a great feeling knowing I can do without when I choose to.

Great fasting everyone!

ps: The goal I most want to achieve, is to have my jeans slip down because they are too big to stay up.
I'm in - Starting again after vacation with sporadic fast days.
May the fast be with you all!
