Im in today but have started struggling with my Bovril drink to help me through the day..
I need to find something else - Maybe try the Miso soup?
Ta,Bean! I've bought a lemon and ginger tea and it's sustaining me very nicely. Feeling tired, but was able to work pretty fast on the assigned tasks this morning so my concentration can't be suffering as much as I think it is. I may not have another fast day til the weekend, so I'm glad to get this out the way- looking forward to having some actual lunch to eat in my lunch break!!
I'm feeling motivated about my fast today and wondering if I can manage a zero calorie liquid fast today? I can always resort to a green juice late evening if I get hungry but I need to kick start my weight maintenance/loss again

I had surgery a couple of weeks ago and my eating has been all over the place since then so I'm determined to get back on track and reach and maintain at 128 pounds

Hope you're all having easy fasts
Doing quite well I think. Only used up just over 100 calories at lunchtime and saving the rest for dinner. Just been sipping water and not really feeling hungry.I managed a brisk walk on the treadmill and burned 100 calories before lunch so although it's not a huge amount I'm pleased with myself. Going to try a Tabata work out tomorrow x
It's a fast day for me today and I'm struggling! I feel like I'm coming down with a cold and all I want to do when I'm feeling sick is eat. Booo!
Ceelyn, if you are unwell, don't fast! Your body and your mind just don't need the extra stress. There's always another day.

I've struggled with hunger a bit today but I know why. We had a big lunch out yesterday, so hardly ate anything in the evening. Lesson learned. Happily, since starting ADF I've been having a snack as well as an evening meal. I don't think I could have coped until now without it.
Just hitting that 3pm wall and my tummy is rumbling! Made myself another cup of herbal tea and will now be counting down the last 1.5hrs of my working day!
Fasting today also, not struggling too bad, last week I was rubbish. My tummy is rumbling but I have venison meatballs and mash for tea.....yum yum.
Back on track today, after falling off the wagon on Thursday evening after a stressful day, then carb-feasting all weekend :curse:

I made it to 3pm, have now had my salad. OH home at 6pm when we will have our soup, then he has to go out and conduct a choir rehearsal, not sure how he does it on so few calories!

Good luck all Monday fasters! :clover:
I'm in today! Off from work for the snow, I feel like bundling up with goodies, but I'm going to stick to the fast even though I'm not in the mood! Next weekend we are going away so I must stay strong today!
Just about to put the kettle on.....as am feeling peckish but daren't have my soup til 5.30/6pm!

Overdid the chocolate last night while watching a bit of the Super Bowl. It was delish.....but I was mindless.....grrrrr! So, am not giving myself any sympathy about today's hunger pangs!

Keep at it, my fellow fasters - we know we can do it!!!

:rainbow: :rainbow: :rainbow:

PS. So sorry about your friend, Mandy x
Late posting for me but I am in!
Need to get back to routine of posting up first thing as somehow it makes the fasting day real and I can't ruin it once it has been announced!!
Feel full of cold but have made it until 4pm so will not ruin it now!!!
Good luck all xxx
I'm in. Both my husband and I are home for a snow day and I feel a bit sad that I won't be indulging in any snow day goodies. I started the day off on the exercise bike for 45 minutes, so I feel extra virtuous. At least my husband gets to eat all of our Super Bowl leftovers.
Fasting today after a weekend of real indulgence. The only good thing was that I did get some good exercise in - 9 miles brisk walking on Sat and 1/2 hr on treadmill on Sunday. But I was so disappointed that I had regained the weight I had lost the 1st week even though I did fast 2 days and exercised every single day :( Have to do better this week. I guess i have be more strict in the fasting.

Am in Dallas so just 11 am here. Almost the whole day to go... I have not heard from anyone in Dallas - wish there was ;-)

cblasz - what time zone are u in?

Good luck to all
Hi @jeninboston Hope your recuperation is going well

Fasting today too and zero calorie as usual so with you there, be extra kind to yourself, keep warm and take chillax time. Used to make greenjuice with spinach and carrot and apple, magical stuff Xx
