I'm in today. Another kg gained since yesterday but the more I read about it the more I realise my sudden spectacular weight gain is carb related because of my falling completely off the wagon over the weekend - a good reason therefore, not to do it again!! So - I am back on low carbiness and will wait for the extra (3.5kg) to GO AWAY, however long it takes and i will know in the future not to sabotage myself by thinking 'sod it' and eating everything in sight because I'm fed up. Hey ho. It is quite scary that I can gain so much in so little time all due to eating more carbs than usual. A lesson to be learned.

Good luck all.
I'm in less than two weeks to my hols so i have to be good .
Tortilla pizza for Dinner to look forward to and plenty of water to take to work
Good luck fellow fasters
Im in today too. @Slimmer and @loversghost, I'm there with you on the weekend splurges. I am nearly 4000cals under my weekly tdee, but I have found that I need to be 5500cals under in order to lose weight. So, even with a 4000 deficit I am 1lb up this morning.

Hope its warming up for you fasters on the other side if the world. Its soft gentle rain, as usual here in Ireland! I really feel the cold when its raining though, especially on fast days.
I'm in! Didn't eat as much as usual yesterday, so it'll be interesting to see how I get on. At least it's nice and warm. @peonyblue you have my sympathy, it's much harder to fast in the cold. That's when I like drinking miso for lunch!
I'm in today. I also didn't eat very much yesterday, it just worked out that way because I was busy and not hungry. Woke up this morning feeling a little hungry but hope this makes for a really good fast. It's cloudy and cool here today so off for a nice walk with the dog in a minute.
I feel for you @loversghost, bl00dy water, it will be gone soon hun. Don't let it put you off.
Are you in today @Bobshouse, @Sue.Q, @Karenmcome on ladies I need the company. I'll just give a shout out to my buddy @Pinchypops. COME BACK HUN!!!!!
Have a great fast everyone. :clover: :clover: :clover:
I'm in today as well. Need a good fast after a really naughty few days of overeating - lots of chocolate and carbs. Feeling pretty unmotivated but hoping this fast will give me a spur on. And @PeonyBlue - you have inspired me! Off to read some before/afters to give me a kick in the arse, then a salad with boiled eggs or tuna steak later.

Happy fast day everyone.
Keep up the great work today fasters!

I've had chicken giblet soup for lunch and dinner - a few more noodles in them in than I'd normally do for a fast day, but it should have kept me within the 500. I'm really hoping it'll all pay off when I hop back on the scales - as a daily weigher I'm missing the regular feedback.

Keep warm you Aussies (and cool you northern hemisphere types) and may the fast be with you!
First fast of the week...Will also do Wednesday and Friday.
The week-end are my free days and although I went up 1 kilo to 82 on Sunday I am back down to 81kilo this morning so only 250g up on last weeks weigh in.
If I can be really good this week on the 3 fast days and stick to only protein, I am hoping it will be a good week and get back to a proper 1-2lb loss.
So today lots of water and herbal tea, and then a very quick shop to get 500cal of protein for dinner which will have to be after the dentist and because I am such a baby where fillings are concerned, I am sure I will feel shattered so will not want to buy all the lovely food.....Well thats the plan anyway.
Although generally, the first fast after the week-end is normally the easiest as I always wake up Monday morning feeling full as I have eaten more than normal on Sat/Sun!
I'm in with my own variation. Low carb, no breakfast, strawberries and raspberries. Ratatouille with bacon bits tonight of it's not too hot.
I'm in! Very heavy weekend including champagne afternoon tea at Claridge's yesterday (so yummy but so much cake/cream/jam/sandwiches/alcohol).

Having chicken breast in a tomato sauce with asparagus and broccoli tonight. Adding rice for DBF otherwise he'll moan!
I m in today after skipping my fast last thursday due to being at a festival, so over the weekend I was mostly on a liquid diet
Defo in today. Been a right fatso over the past week. Been eating all the crap that I shouldn't have eaten. i.e. pizza, pasta, bread...
Hi all

Got put onto the idea of following this plan from a friend. Started today with a fast day.

It's been surprisingly easy all day, I ate 2 slices of Marmite & multigrain toast for breakfast, had a tangelo for lunch, a banana when I came home from work, did a 6km run and decided to drink a glass of tomato juice and have some porridge. Suddenly I'm half way through the porridge and my stomach started growling and yowling like hell!

I reckon next time I'll probably eat the porridge for breakfast and have the toast in the evening. Or maybe some different fruit or something. Feeling a bit full right now.
In today! Expecting this new toy in the mail (http://www.williams-sonoma.com/products ... prializer/) to manage fast days so already dreaming of a huge bowl of cheesy saucy zucchini noodles for 500cal!
In today, too.

I managed to do pretty well the past three days, since I had gotten tired of the pigging out I'd been doing in the previous weeks. I ate a bunch of pastry yesterday, but not a whole lot else, since it upset my stomach and I didn't feel like eating anything for the rest of the day.

We will be going for a middle-of-the-week week end at the shore tomorrow and Weds, visiting the Newport, RI area which we have never been to before. We are hoping to have some good food, but since it is a tourist area and the restaurants are very expensive, we aren't expecting too much. The food at the Cape is pretty mediocre. Or if there is something good to eat there besides boiled lobsters and steamers, we haven't managed to find it in many years of trying. Mostly we just want to breathe the sea air and dip our feet in some water that isn't 56 degrees, which is the temperature at the beach we can reach more easily on a day trip. Nasty what happens to ocean water when it isn't in the gulf stream!
