Hi guys,

Fasting today after a not particularly good weekend - definitely over my TDEE for two days! My daughter very kindly bought me a box of Black Magic chocolates and I ate the top layer in one day (it's a skill;-) )

Anyway, first fast of week today and am actually really glad it is. Lasted out till 2.30pm and had homemade veg, sweet potato and bean (for the protein), Melba toasts with Philly and marinate and two chocolates (naughty). Coming in at 359 caps!!! Having four small stuffed mushrooms for dinner (140cals).

I WILL resist the evening snack attack!
A late entry but I' ve been fasting today. Gone very well and I look forward to my cheese omelette at 7. Hope everyone had a successful day. :like:
I couldn't face the bookkeeping with no chocolate, so it'll have to wait until tomorrow. OH wants me to make butter tablet tomorrow (not making it today as I can't have any!)
@justdee - I'M BACK!

Fasted successfully last week, and today - fasting again tomorrow. I went awol due to a holiday, too much work, blah blah blah.

Feeling fantastic for it! Hope everyone's doing well xx :victory:
Yeahhhh!!! you're back @pinchypops, I'm going to have to get you a tag haha. Hope you had a nice holiday, did you go anywhere nice? I'm still almost at my lowest weight on this WOL, just been bobbing up and down the same few lbs since you've been gone but did have a trip to UK where I gained (then lost) a little. Hope to break through into the 11st somethings very soon. Glad you're back, I knew you would be, this WOE is too good not to return. Good luck hun :)

Thinks to self: I better run round to the off licence for a jeraboam of wine and a litre of gin..wonder will that be enough for Sue :?:

Just enough @CandiceMarie only just

Welcome back @StowgateResident Glad you enjoyed your holiday, you'll soon blow away that gain
the most important thing is to enjoy life at a certain age.
Well done @justdee @Karenm First one out of the way for you both, its felt very strange not doing a proper fast today, I've come join under my TDEE but missed today's fast strange feeling.
Welcome back @pinchypops Dee has missed your company and support. :like: :clover:
I'm in today, still only just past noon here. Was a little concerned 'cause didn't sleep well; hot here (at least for Seattle; no one has AC)! But OK so far, just coffee tea water....
@sue.q, today is second fast as I did yesterday too.
I won't be doing that again in a hurry though! I am struggling a bit now and those couple of pieces of chocolate, though within cals, were a mistake
I wish I didn't have to wait until Friday to get weighed as I'm hoping to have lost and I'm excited!
@justdee - we went to Prague - it was absolutely beautiful, but survived on a diet of pilsner beer, meat, sourkraut and dumplings! Post-holiday I failed to get back on track and filled my boots with red wine, cheese, takeaways and general over indulgence. It took a takeaway Indian (for supper and breakfast  ) to finally get me back into the swing of this WoL. I had stomach ache for days, constipation and felt fat and fatigued.

Really really enjoying getting back on the horse (AGAIN) and making lots of scrumptious, healthy meals. I downloaded myfitnesspal, which is such a great app and really makes me think about my calorie intake.

Fasted today - watermelon for breakie, homemade cayenne and honey turkey burger with pineapple quinoa, watermelon salsa, rocket and mint yoghurt for lunch, stir fried chicken with light soy sauce, beansprouts, grated carrot and rocket for supper, followed by a particularly delicious kiwi fruit. Totted up my calories and today came in at 516

Hope I won't be ousted from the forum for my constant disappearing, reappearing act!

cc
Yay welcome back @pinchypops, perhaps you could update us about what's going on with you these days. Have you seen the google hang out, we've gone all techno techno around here you know. Glad you're back
Well done you @Karenm you're going great guns. Are you doing 5:2 or 4:3? I weigh in the day after my last fast of the week, whichever day that may be. So if you fast on wednesday you could weigh in on Thursday.
That's the greatest thing about this WOL @Sue.Q, it fits around our lives. I love it.
What is scouse? @candicemarieIs it stew? what meat do you have in it?

You keep trying to get away @pinchypopsbut this WOL keeps dragging you back in haha. The thing is now we know how good we feel on this WOL it's really hard not to come back after over doing it for a bit. Glad you're feeling better already, the magic has already started to work. Well done on todays fast :)
Thanks @justdee!

@carieoates - what is the google hangout?

I'm doing really well thanks - I got back together with my ex and am very happy about it! It was a bit up and down to begin with, but I feel so content with him . Working lots at the moment - I currently have a full time job on the go, along with my MA and a pub job. Just had to let go of some freelancing work that I committed to a while ago, as I was waking up in a stress most mornings, worried about what I hadn't done.

How are you? What's new? I really miss everyone xx
I've done today. Even getting a taste for cottage cheese...when well disguised with garlic pepper!
Wasn't really planning to do today but a migraine attack meant food was not an option earlier on so just maximising my benefits.
@candicemarie...scouse? I don't know what that is but you also mentioned buying wine -I understand that word...perhaps I could invite myself...?
Didn't think I would-but I seem to have made it up to now so I might as well last until bedtime!
@sue.qi get weighed on Friday, my last fast is Thursday. I need to stick to the same day as my ups and downs can be humongous! I'm just really hoping 4:3 two weeks on the trot should get things going x
