It has been a struggle this afternoon for me, sat down to watch an hour of tv and it was unbelievable the amount of food advertised or people eating shown. No wonder we all think about eating all day!
Decided to spend two hours in the garden clearing weeds and pruning and that was much better. Now quick dog walk then its veggie curry for me

What is an ideal BMI?
(I like the sound of clementinek's naked apple pie bar... What exactly is that?)
How they diet in Italy I cannot imagine! (Too much lovely food..pasta, ice cream, wine etc!!)

Actually, the nakd bars are, as they say, "gleefully made in Britain"
They are basically fruit and nuts pressed together without added sugars (ca. 100kcal).Tthey are one of the few really tasty healthy snacks!
As for dieting in Italy... yes, it is tough, but personally I do not like pasta that much, pizza instead is to blame
Dinner now cooking, first day back has gone well, a 22hour fast!
Aargh, have accidentally sabotaged my own fast! I'd planned on no food as usual till the evening meal. We've had workmen here all day, but I resisted the biscuits. And resisted them at my course this morning! But then forgot the planned meal of eggs, and thawed out some cooked sausages. They are now at room temperature, so I don't want to save them for tomorrow. Grr. I meant to have a really good day after hitting my target briefly last week, but being 2kg heavier this morning!
I'm in today~ fasting my usual Monday Fast! Glad to be in such great company :)
I hadn't thought about eating until my toddler starting feeding me raisins at 4.30! Oh well, didn't have too many! Had my tea now, just a cuppa or two later!
I'm fasting today. Had to get up early to wait for the garage door mechanic too. Which means I'm starving and have been since very early this morning. Ah well.. it'll pass. And it will all be over tomorrow.
That is how I cope, by telling myself I can have it tomorrow. Often when tomorrow comes I don't want it! One of the big things this plan has helped me with is snacking. On the whole I just eat three meals a day on feed days. Very occasionally I have biscuits or cake with a mug of coffee but mostly I just have the coffee, black and sugarless. No Costa or such in France thank goodness.
I am in today, so far so good, had some coffee and water. I went grocery shopping and bought tons of veggies to cook for the week. I also bought some bouillon concentrate in case I start feeling lousy like last week. My plan for tonight is a large salad with rotisserie chicken.
Must nearly be your bedtime up there as I have just woken up. Hope the Monday fasters got another nice fast under your belt as I did ...nite
I'm ready for bed. Early night I think. First time I have had a tough time fasting. Tonight appalling headache. Good luck to fasters in land down under for Tuesday :like:
I've got a cracking headache too. In bed now with peppermint tea. I have drunk my usual amount but maybe the soup I had this afternoon didn't have enough salt in it...
Today was a success! I didn't feel lousy like last week, drank plenty of water and waited until dinner to eat a hearty salad with chicken. Feeling the power of fasting again!
