HI Sotellme. We Aussies usually start the fasting day, as it's today here first.Inland N/W NSW, quite a long way from N/W Tasmania! You live in the Outback. Hang in there, Newbies. Distract distract distract. Let that be your mantra. Find something else to do, outside the kitchen. Keep busy. I am about to start getting dinner, not a moment too soon! I've picked some English Spinach and I have a cold beef steak ready to thinly slice. I will make a yummy dressing. And there are freshly picked broad beans and snow peas. Bring it on!
I'm in. Had a week away on business, did my ABSOLUTE best but put just over 1kg on .... at a time of year when it's probably not a good idea!!!!

Brithday celebrations next weekend, followed by Christmas & New Year ... fasting today AND Wednesday to get back on track !
Hi,
I'm in. All this talk of 27deg upwards is making me envious, it's -1.1 here but sunny. Zamale the spicy orange tea sounds lovely, is it fruit tea or real tea? I'm doing my second week of soup fasting today and Wednesday. Good luck everybody.
I am in today it is all a bit strange, I usually don't get out of bed until 9.30 on a repair morning but I couldn't sleep so I have already been up for an hour. Yesterday we had a 3 course Indian Christmas lunch and have not eaten since so it will be a long long way till 7pm tonight when I would normally eat, indeed 11 1/2 hours. This is fast no 78 so I am no stranger to the concept. I have a Christmas lunch on Wednesday which is usually my 2nd repair day so I hope to change it to Thursday. I have been wracking my brain for a favourite Christmas food but I don't like mince pies or Christmas pudding or Turkey so for me it is just over indulgence in Chocolate ,(after eights by the box ) crisps, pretzels, peanuts and lots of cake oh and red wine I cant forget red wine. Then I wonder why I can put on 8lb over Christmas and New year. I hope to be a lot better this year my goal for the CC is to have maintained right through to January 1st. Sorry for the ramble, Hope you all have an easy enjoyable day.
Well I picked up my ultrasound results. Seems ok, they haven't suggested further investigation so I'm hoping my doctor just wants a follow up at a later date just to keep an eye on my lumpy bits. :?:
I'm in this morning for my first fast on maintenance. My plan is to continue with my usual Monday and Thursday repair days of one meal a day but not counting calories.

A massive thank you to all the lovely people on this forum for providing so much inspiration, help and support.

Wishing you all a very successful fast.

Dee
Great wineoclock relax and enjoy the festive season, wishing you a happy healthy 2014.
Hi All
(Best wishes Wineoclock, sounds like the results are OK)
I'm in for Monday after a weekend of average eating (managed to gain a bit though) so it's
Repair Monday for me!
Still battling a virus but gradually getting stronger which is just as well as I've got to get the Sellotape and paper out this week (you know what I mean!)
Good luck fellow Monday fasters!
fast no. 52 here I come. Lost 1cm off my waist and hips today which is nice considering my weight isn't going anywhere lol. Ate all the xmas sweets I bought this weekend....a box of 'after eights' and a tube of 'refreshers' definitely time to fast. I feel I have got that binge out of the way!
Happy fasting everyone x
 Yes I'm in today willingly didn't go too mad over the weekend considering my 1st xmas meal out but want to get to my interim/xmas goal. :clover: Good Luck to all fasting :clover: :clover: :clover: Sue :clover: :clover:
Too many Christmas nuts over the last few weeks... I'm gonna stop buying them for a while I think cos once I've started cracking those lil shells of nutty goodness open there's no stopping me :eat:

Right, anyway yes I'm in today!

Have a good one fasters :clover:
Count me in today  I might do back to back fast's this week, due to a couple of work lunches I have to go to. I love the flexibility of this plan.
Hi everyone, I'm off to bed now after a successful fast day. I'm glad to hear that your ultrasound results look OK @Wineoclock. Thats a relief :like: .
Happy fasting.
Xxx julianna
Nearly bedtime for me too :)
Have managed to stick with the fast, because I don't want to sabotage my usual Tues weigh-in (as I have been away for a week, I am keen to see what impact a different eating pattern has had on my weight, without any further upset!!!), but has been difficult cos I didn't get much sleep last night, so have been feeling a bit yuck all day :( And the weather has been atrocious, as predicted, which never helps...
Had my choir's break-up Christmas Party tonight, and did not let myself have any of the lovely food that everyone had brought :( Though I did bring a small 'doggy bag' of selected goodies home for tomorrow...!!!
Wishing everyone still going a successful fast day :) :)
Im fasting today its cold and damp here and my tummy is rumbling :-(
