I'm in today after a very naughty weekend of wine and treats. Love this WOE though because I don't have to feel guilty, I know I can just start right back again and repair :)

Lots of water and tea today for me, and then a pot of Tesco's finest Moroccan chicken soup tonight which is just divine. I usually only have half and have a few snacks through the day but today I'm going to save my calories to just have the lot after the gym :) looking forward to it already!

Good luck everyone :)
I'm in today, I think ... but feeling poorly and sorry for myself, so I'm not sure if I'll make it through the day on 500 cals. I felt a cold coming on last week and started losing my voice, but felt well enough to go with my husband to turn his pages at a concert on Saturday night in Ware (he's an organist) - managed to get thru the concert without having a coughing fit, stayed over then traveled to Coventry yesterday for his old choristers reunion. I didn't shake anyone's hands in case i gave them the lurgy, then what with all the driving and everything I was exhausted, got through several boxes of tissues coughing and spluttering then the long drive home, when I offered to drive the M1 and M25 and thought at one point I'd have to pull onto the hard shoulder as the coughing got ridiculous - ugh! Anyway, got home safely and slept (in the spare room!) for 12hours. Has anyone else successfully fasted while in the thick of a cold? Wish me luck peeps!
I'm in! - I have actually been looking forward to today because although I didn't overeat at the weekend I do feel sluggish - as I drank wine and there was a fry up involved.

Salad for lunch and chickpea and spinach curry for tea with roasted veg - lots of nice cleansing nutritious food :)

Good luck everyone
I'm in today and @lizzieh in the middle of a stinker! Just had a cup of bovril, nice and warm and comforting. Hope you're feeling better soon
Hello I'm new to the boards. I also fast on Monday/Thursday. While I do have a Christmas party tonight, its with people who are very health conscious so when they bring little snacks and food usually veggies & fruits & nuts. so I'm not worried about that at all. Fast is just one day, I'll get through it. See you on the other side!
Hi everyone!

Its been a while - started a new job and the usual Christmas thang going on and I couldn't get my head in the right space.

Enjoying today, strangely - feels good to be back repairing. Lamb and lentil stew for later, mmmmmmm!

Good luck everyone :clover: :clover:
Oooh do you have a recipe DippyHippy?
I'm in. Bit of a heavy weekend booze wise so it feels good to be having a @Monday fast to clear my system.

Tea for breakfast, soup for lunch (Pret's slim soups are handy things) and a ready meal for dinner as I'm busy using the cooker to make a vat of Port and onion marmalade for Christmas gifts this evening. Yum.
I'm in and on the homeward stretch now. Only water so far but looking forward to a 500 cal meal later.
I am fasting today after a heavy weekend with CAKES to celebrating my birthday  ..

Pia
Hello! I'm in today! I ate so much this weekend I thought a fast would feel good, but nope! My body wants to keep the party going! I'm going to stay strong though, just water and coffee so far and then miso for lunch and some fish for dinner.
yes I am (now on the 28th hour) and have stayed within my 500kcal easily. Surprise since last weeks fasting was kind of not 36hr if I say so
yes fasting today, not too bad today, but as usual the evening are the worst. Still, an easy day for most of it.
Almost finished, going to bed soon. Yess! :-D
All done and dusted successfully! Hope everyone else had success!
