MLCDz wrote: Hello I'm new to the boards. I also fast on Monday/Thursday. While I do have a Christmas party tonight, its with people who are very health conscious so when they bring little snacks and food usually veggies & fruits & nuts. so I'm not worried about that at all. Fast is just one day, I'll get through it. See you on the other side!

Oh well, I made it to the end of the day, but totaled 635 calories instead of 500. Sigh. Try again on Thursday.
@MLCDz Mary Lynn, You did fine! Going over a bit isn't a fail and WoW! you went to a Christmas party and managed to keep it under cals?! Well done! :like: :victory:
Thanks, I'm just so new at this, I don't trust it to work yet. Nothing else has ever been successful or sustainable, so I'm still in that newbie mode of "what if I don't do it right?!?"
Thanks for the encouragement @Betsysgr8
