I'm in for my normal Monday fast as well. 2 planned for the week which will probably just undo the damage I did at the weekend. Sigh........up and down I go! I'm anxious for warm weather so my weekends will be spent walking the golf course rather than sitting at home looking for the next thing I can eat! :dazed:

Have good days everyone!

:star: I am vegan too :star: but don't have any problem reaching my TDEE on non fast days.

Where are you located Elisa?
Going well today I don't feel the slightest bit hungry :like: its funny how some days I could eat my own arm off
@Janpartly - I find that I am particular hungry during my time of the month or when stressed, other weeks I get mildly hungry but the drive to eat seems linked more to habit than hunger.
I could eat my own head today , but only because I want to murder half the people I work with :pissedoff:
I'm checking in today. The weather is suppose to be nice. Hope everyone has a great day
I'm in. It's my usual Monday fast. Had a couple of cups of coffee, each with a splash of half and half. Dunno the calories but I'm using half and half rather than the "so tasty but so unhealthy" non-dairy creamer. I'm getting the munchies so off to eat a small dill pickle or 2. Then I'll make some split pea soup later.
:clover: all!
I'm nearly at the end of another successful Monday fast I just wish the rest of the week would be as good! Been for a swim, going to wash up and then settle down for Murdoch Mysteries and then it will be time for bed.
Update,,,had a pretty good one, a small salad at lunch then homemade meatballs with veggy tomato sauce and a wee bit of tagliatelle.
Just an up date: I failed to refrain from drinking wine last night. I had 2 glasses. Also I had a big dinner with dessert. So with my 250cals of pears, I definitely went over. Never mind. Thursday will be another day. But I am going back to the drawing board of counting calories on Fast Days.
Mine has been an OK FD - off to bed soon and looking forward to tomorrow.
Grilled lamb leg steak, asparagus, tender stem broccoli and a few peas for my dinner this evening. This afternoon I remembered that I had promised to do some baking for the WI tomorrow so I have made and decorated a dozen cup cakes, two lemon drizzle cakes and two Lincolnshire tea loaves . Apart from one absent-minded lick of a spoon, not one morsel has passed my lips! Hurrah! Now some paperwork to do, then some TV before bed at midnight. I hope that I can manage to resist any more food!
Oh SR. aren't you good. Well done!

That's another good fast day under my belt. And so to bed...
I'm in today, only black coffee and plain tea so far, will have cuppa broth in an hour or two (when I can't hold out any longer). Oh, an update on the job situation--last week my former supervisor emailed and asked if I'd like a temp 7 month gig telecommuting from home (the whole issue has been they want me to commute 140 miles a day and I say hell no); I told her yes, of course if I am offered a permanent / better job, since it's temp I can quit with one day's notice. So yeah, it makes sense! I just have to discipline myself to job hunt while I'm working; after a full day at the computer, it's hard to make myself do it, but I've just gotta!
That's great news @ferretgal! Congratulations. I love being a temp teacher. I get all the benefits of permanent teachers as far as pay and superannuation and holidays but if I don't like a school, I can move on to another one.
