Just keep swimming.. Just keep swimming.. Gawd, these at home fasts are sooooooooo hard :hungry: i'm committed now though after negotiating my way through lunch time unscathed!! So just gotta keep doing stuff! Ironing next.. Urgh!
I'm in for my usual Monday. Been for a walk and a run today so I am feeling quite smug, I will surely last till 7pm now. Good luck everybody.
Aaaaaaaagh, I starvin! It's that time between lunch and dinner. Kids are home, its pelting rain all day. Everyone is getting bored now and the fights are starting. Hubby working, so we are trapped at home  We have done music, dance, crafts, movie, housework and flippin computer games. I must stay out of the kitchen, or I will eat counter tops and all! Mmmm, book and story time next I think.
I'm so sorry about your cat, Judio, they sure take a piece of your heart with them

I'm in today but feeling very meh. I've been so good for so many weeks and I've reached the plateau. I only had 3lbs to go, but it's been yoyoing between 3-4-5 for a couple of weeks. I'm sure I need to do something as a kick start but I don't know what?

I'm looking forward to my tea as I'm usually at work when fasting!
Late checking in today but i'm fasting. I just went to Ikea with my hubby where he promptly scoffed down fish and chips and a strawberry tart  i had a small bowl of salad :like: it was hard but preferable to fasting tomorrow and thursday, i would just rather get it done today.
I'm in after a weekend of indulgences like many of the rest of you. I did three fasts last week and will try to keep that up for the rest of the month. I want to break through a plateau before summer hits. I have so many clothes that will fit me if I just lose another 5 pounds or so...
How slowly the day goes when you are fasting! having another cuppa (liqourice and cinnamon = nice) Green tea and pear for breakfast, another tea later in morning also a Bovril it being cold and windy out. Some homemade soup (leek/carrot/onion/garlic and 'stock pot') that I made yesterday for lunch. I think it will be omelette with lot of stirfry veg thrown in and slice of nice fancy ham for evening meal. I only like a very strong coffee latte style so cutting that out is big step in right direction(oh and the biscuits :) ) . I think I can safely have a snack before bedtime. Good result of last week which was week one of present attempt.... I wonder does weightloss tail off even if eating same amount on fast days?
I'm hanging my head in shame. I've just failed my fast...again! This is now the third one. Don't know what's wrong with me. Anyway, I was planning on doing a back to back fast on Friday and Saturday anyway (because I've got a birthday meal to enjoy  ) so hopefully that will set me back on track.

Hope the rest of you can get through the day without being naughty!

Bean :starving:
@nursebean beany do you think it could be coz its a holiday weekend!?
I think it goes deep with us,right back to childhood and holiday weekends = treats and goodies and trips out.x
Could me, I suppose but I've not gone anywhere or done anything holidayee

Yoohoo again @nursebean!
I know Bean x thats what i mean by it goes deep..in our subconscious, all the childhood memories of nice food, treats, outings at Bank Holidays are still there..comes the Bank Hol,something inside us wants those goodies..i HAD to have ice cream today coz was at beach..coz all those longheld memories say seaside= icecream!
@Nursebean, another successful eating window day for you
I feel your pain @nursebean. It was the same for me a few weeks ago, I would get to the afternoon and just give up. Try not to stress about it as I think (for me anyway) that puts too much pressure on completing the next fast. I'm sure it will sort it's self out as it did for me. We know it works, sometimes we just hit a blip. I've also stopped calling them failed fast and now call them 16:8 or half fast or whatever, as most of the problem is in our head. When I'm doing "half fast" I try to do them every day until I'm ready for a full fast. Good luck :clover:

I can totally relate to this, up until last week I just could NOT get through the second fast, for quite a few weeks! It was so frustrating and I began to think I was never gonna get my fasting mojo back.. But it must be now because I've got through today, despite being home all day - most challenging time for me fasting-wise (and eating actually!!)
Well done @chichi13 I'm the opposite, find it so much easier at home. When I have to go out on a fastday there seems to be temptation everywhere I look.
It's 9:10pm now and I've still not had dinner yet. I'm not feeling hungry so I'll wait for the next hunger pang and then go for it. :)
