Fasting today, Monday May 5th
04 May 2014, 23:12
Hi, I'm in today. Surprised that no one else has started this thread as it is past 9am here in Eastern Australia. No food until this evening.
Sad weekend for me with my precious cat dying suddenly, breaks your heart.

Happy fasting to everyone today, :geek:
Hi @Judio, Im here, just a bit slow checking in this morning. Im so sorry to hear about your cat
Huge carb overload on the weekend, and dont mention the wine, so needing a fast today.
Big hugs judio to you, that is really awful for you. So sorry.

I am in today although continuing to be frustrated at every turn here.
《《Cyber hugs》》 @Judio poor cat. I hope it didnt suffer, if it was sudden. It might be a better way to go than being sick for ages.

I am a bit unmotivated about fasting. Its a bank holiday Monday, so it might change to an eating window day. I am looking forward to my weigh in in the morning. I am getting close to my goal weight. Only about 7lbs/3kg to go. :victory:
I'm in today! Happy fasting everyone.
I was awful over the weekend and feeling the need to fast today badly!
Sorry to hear about your cat Judio.

Weight up by 1.5kg in three days :( Therefore trying something new today; did a gym session at 6am but no food until dinner tonight. It's miserable weather so got wet on my way into work. This could become a challenging day...
Hello fasters,

I am in today. I'm just having my black coffee and have a list of jobs to attend to. Always good to have a plan on a fast day, so that I am kept busy and don't get distracted wondering what to do. I am about to roast some pumpkin for a salad for tonight. It's important for me to have a food plan on a fast day too and not get to that desperate time of day - about 5pm - and be wondering what's for tea. I think I'll buy some steak to have with the pumpkin salad. My motto today is 'Keep it Simple.' We are going to Adelaide on Wednesday and I have a lot of 'before we go' things to do. I will stay calm I will stay calm i will stay calm......
I'm in today. I'm doing things differently today as I usually save all my cals for dinner with my husband, but I forgot what I was doing and ate a small breakfast this morning. Hopefully I've not made things harder for myself! Time will tell.
Good luck Monday fasters :-)
Howdy y'all!

I'm in today! Starving now but ill get over it. Had two black coffees and a cup of tea with one sugar and a dash of soy milk so far. Now drinking some water and will have a miso soup shortly.

I don't know if I will even get chance to have dinner as I've got college until nine tonight then by the time I get home it will be around ten and I doubt I will be hungry then. Which would actually be good! Aiming for three fasts this week.. I enjoyed my holiday to New Zealand so much (meeting a beautiful kiwi boy might have had something to do with it :p) that I'm going back there in a couple of weeks for a long weekend :) would be great to shift a few pounds before then!

Also have quite a big weekend this coming weekend (friends birthday) so if I fast today, Wednesday and Friday I won't feel so bad being a bit naughty on Saturday.

Have a great day everyone!

Lil
@Judeo, that's so sad, losing a beloved pet hurts so much.
I'm in, freezing cold here, so I'm an ice block. Really don't like winter.
I'm in today too :)

Interesting that a few of us overindulged over the weekend - not uncommon I imagine. I take some comfort that this includes others with low BMI...

Having my first black coffee for the day. Usually I like to be in the garden on a fast day (which has the triple bonus of keeping me busy, being active and getting the garden tidied) but it's very wet and cold outside. I do have to edit my son's uni essay on the superpowers involvement with conflict in the Middle East in the 60's - not a topic I find enthralling. My job is to find 300 words to cut!

Anyhow, must check out the other forum active threads and then get on to the essay.

@Judio, so sad about your cat. Sending hugs
Hi all, I'm in too.
@ Judio, sending hugs.

I've been for my swim- wind was cold but water was quite cosy.
One black coffee and some water so far today.
I'm now freezing too, we Aussie wimps are all about to start moaning about the cold for a few months! It's about 18deg in Sydney but with a very cold wind.
DD and I will have our usual stir fry veges with lemon and ginger, followed by fruit and an almond milk hot chocolate. Glad to have left overs for DH.
Have a good repair day everyone.
@LilSmiler, are you going back to holiday or meet your new friend
The sun has been streaming in my windows at work so its nice and warm in here.
We have finally got the underfloor heating fired up at home so we should have a nice warm floor soon and no more cold feet. It will be interesting to see if its enough to keep the house warm without any other heating as that was the idea.
I'm going back to meet him :) just for two nights. Very excited! I loved NZ!
Thats nice Lil, hope it goes really well for you
