Near the end of a 43 hour day in FastDayLand (true - from the beginning of the Aussies' day to the end of the day for the US West coasters.) And we all made it!
My daughter came up for dinner, and we went out. That was easier than going to the store and then cooking, as there is nothing to speak of in the fridge. Anyway, I'm still kind of excited that I can go to a restaurant on a fast day, but not blow the fast. I had a cup of chicken potato leek soup, walnut crusted trout with cream sherry sauce (not much) and sweet potato mash. Might have been as much as 500 calories, but I had nothing the rest of the day except a bit of milk in my coffee and a mug of miso. So, done and dusted, as I've learned to say here!
