Is this true? Has noone else started the topic today and it's 11.15?
Maybe I'm missing it!
Anyway, good morning all the Monday Fasters.
I've had my swim and now enjoying a coffee (with a touch of almond milk) and about to head off to visit Mum.
I managed 2 fasts last week for the first time in many months- it was ok so I might try and keep it up.
Veges and fruit for dinner as usual tonight.
Have a good day.
@gigi55. Thanks for starting the thread. It's a public holiday in northwest Tasmania: Recreation Day - the holiday we get to make up for Southern Tasmania's Regatta Day in February, which we don't get. Tasmania is very parochial. I am fasting today. Unfortunately or fortunately, depending on your point of view, we have been invited to a neighbours for afternoon tea and i know she is making a gluten/dairy free cake. I considered changing my day, but I don't like upsetting the routine. I will be good until then and have a small slice. I am still sitting around in my dressing gown. About to get dressed though and out into the garden to plant strawberries.
I am not fasting today as I am still enjoying a long weekend of festivities centered around food!! But I will certainly be fasting tomorrow. Have eaten rather a lot this weekend, as expected.:)
Have just popped into the forum while I am waiting to go out with a friend for lunch...
Best wishes to all of today's fasters. :)
Hi fasters!

The kitchen here is now closed and I will fast until tomorrow's dinner. Baked cookies today and have a lot to fast about tomorrow.
Thanks @gigi55 for leading us out ... I'm off to bed shortly so will join in the morning. I have an evening meeting after work which will keep me out of the kitchen! I need to stock up on fizzy water, the cupboard is bare. Happy fasting everyone.
Yes I am also in today for a maintenance fast. Had a friend stay on weekend so didn't fast on Sunday tho I could have as she fasts too. The upshot is I didn't so in today and will probably do tomorrow as well, no Melbourne Cup activities planned except a punt. Had a coffee at home a protein bar awhile back and will eat a half portion of veg, lentil coconut cream curry when I get home, 3.30? That should do me, maybe an 8 cal hot choc b4 an early night after insomnia. Good luck to all you fasters,
Im in today too. 2 fasts last week, a bit of that weight that crept on came off, and I'm back on track mentally.
I'm not fasting just popped in to say hi. It's our 30th wedding anniversary today and we are in Sydney celebrating.
Morning I am in my usual mom, wed and fri fast. Good luck everyone
Happy Anniverary Wineoclock! 30 Years ! Fasntastic! I've had cake and melting moments and feel quite full. Is that 500 calories? I think I'll need to have something else for dinner but I'll be very minimal. Perhaps and egg on toast will do.
I'm in today. I'm supposed to be on maintenance but keep bouncing around between 119lbs and 123lbs. Off to get dressed for first day back at school after half term holiday - hope I've remembered everything. Good luck everyone :)
Good luck to all newbies, losers and maintainers.
Like LouLou, I'm here after half term break and back to school with the kids. Got my mug of butternut squash soup to keep my belly happy if I need it at midday.
Salmon and aubergine bake tonight. Planning my food is always good for me.
I'm in! Off to my writing class this morning, then loads to do at home because we are finishing decorating a little room, putting everything back, and starting to clear the living room, stairs, landing. Hopefully too busy to think about food too much!
Good luck everyone! :clover:

Have a good day @Loulou51 and @carieoates, as a retired primary school teacher I know how tiring the first day back can be!
Happy Anniversary @wineoclock - 30years is definitely to be celebrated!
@Carieoates your food sounds yummy today, think I'll be having home grown pumpkin soup tonight
New week, new month and hopefully new mindset - hope everyone has a good day
I'm in from a seriously soggy Sussex !
No better way to start a fasting Monday than being monster cuddled by a dripping wet cat :cat2:

I'm glad to be fasting today it feels like I had a heavy weekend as we had friends over and went out for bonfire celebrations which is really big in Sussex so not expecting good news on the scales tomorrow.

Good luck everyone ..have a great fast
