@Canoegal, I couldn't have gone to the store on a fast day during my first couple months. Fasting got a lot easier for me with time. I only got physiologically hungry late in the afternoon today. Now I've had my dinner and am good to go.

I bought myself a treat at Whole Foods bakery that would keep til tomorrow, so I have that to look forward to. Knowing I can eat whatever the next day really helps.

@Motherof2, It happens. Just keep going and don't beat yourself up!
Hi again,
Well woken up 1.5kgs less than yesterday morning weight. Too many carbs on weekend methinks!
Driven DS to second big exam and about to do an aldi keratin treatment to my hair before picking him up then lunch with a friend. Yay!
Shall we make it a regular Monday thing, @Sallyo? You greet us in the morning and I say goodnight? I had half an acorn squash stuffed with couscous, pecans, apples, raisins, and sweet spices for my fast day dinner. And two thin slices of deli turkey. And one spoon of ice cream which I eat to celebrate being a mainteneer. It was lovely. Goodnight
Good idea @wendyjane Sounds like a good fast for you. It's now well into Tuesday afternoon and I wonder what time it is in your part of the world. I do this Japanese course and you can sign up for on-line one-on-one tutorials with a Native Speaker, but she is on the East Coast of the US and I can never work out what time I could go. It would be good to get my head around that. It has been a non-fast day here for me and I am cooking a lamb belly. It is slow cooked in lemon/olive oil/herbs and garlic and then crisped up at a hot temperature at the end. It's a yummy way to eat lamb. I love the day after a fast!
Fasted today; after dinner, almost 11pm here (west US). Weight has been stable, but realized that I have allowed cals on light days to creep up, so am back to keeping track (on light days only) on MyFitnessPal. While I don't want to focus on weight loss alone, I also would like to continue to lose, albeit slowly.
A site like this one might be useful, @Sallyo:

It just informed me that it's 4:15 in the afternoon on Wednesday in Sydney.
And it looks like the final goodnight on Mondays may be coming from @ferretgal. It's an hour earlier on the west coast, where she is.
