Hey everyone!!
I'm in for my second fast of the week.
Had 2 really good feast days.. full of protein, vege and very little carbs. Feel so much more alert and finding when the alarm goes off in the morning I don't need to keep pressing snooze.
Feeling fine so far although it is only just gone 9.30AM but I have heaps of herbal teas and will have a miso around lunchtime.
Going to an all you can eat sushi/sushimi restaurant tomorrow so debating whether or not to fast on Saturday or just be good. Guess I'll see how I feel, 4:3 seems a bit scary, especially a fast day at the weekend.
Have a great day everyone.
Lil
I'm in. Taking a friend out for morning tea as she has had some surgery, can't drive and is going stir crazy. Hope I can stop at coffee only!
You can chook :)
Oh booger, then no excuse.
Chickpea tagine for supper and make it up a you go along for the rest.
Yes I'd like to fast tomorrow. (Today already for some of you). A very foodie day today. Thoroughly enjoyable but will appreciate the rest. Good luck fasters  :clover:
Yes! Sorry about that! It really is November! I wonder if I can correct that? Home now, in the garden, feeling faint; decided to stop for 5 minutes to recover my strength.
Gardening? Then it can't be pouring down in the north of the state at the moment like it is here!!!
No cricket for me today, alas!!
We'll, someone fixed it: thank you. We are having a North African lamb and chick pea, tomato-y soup. We'll, it's 2 tooth actually from a friend's block. OH helped the friend with the butchering job and we got half in payment. Thank you everyone for good wishes. He has hepetitis C, so this is part of an assessment of his condition. We have waited 2 years to see a gastroenterologist after the one we were seeing before abandoned his patients and went to live in the capital. He just up and left with no forwarding address! So we are glad something is happening.
Rain is predicted , Deb, so I'm getting in before it starts. The weather is coming from the south today.
Best wishes to your husband Sallyo. :clover:

I'm in for my usual Thursday fast. Have just reached my initial target weight and have only 2 kg to go to the revised goal - I feel so healthy and energetic and love how my clothes fit; 5:2 is the best thing that has happened to me this year!

Have a successful day everyone!
Just stopped raining at last, feeling miserable with the start of a chest infection and have been curled up on the sofa watching Harry Potter. Bad news is, I blew my fast though, buckets of corn thins with peanut butter, I needed comfort food. Damn it, this rarely happens.
Glad to hear things are moving forward with hubby Sallyo
Don't be too hard on yourself Debs, obviously your body needed that comfort. Tomorrow's a new day.
Hi all,
Im in today-very hard day at work -am now collapsed on bed.
Chicken and veg stirfry for dinner then early to bed.
Congratulations @AiriR on reaching your goals. You sound so happy. This WOL and this forum is the best thing thats happened to me this year too. :-)
Xx julianna
I'm in today, my second fast of the week. I had a sneaky weigh yesterday and was only 1 1/2lbs off my revised target weight of 9st 7lbs. So I'm hoping another couple of weeks will get me there.
I'm planning to go out with my running group this morning, instead of my usual solo effort.
Good luck everyone :clover:
Never mind, Debs, you get bad days and good days. Corn thins and peanut butter, eh? No accounting for taste! Take care and be kind to yourself.
