I've just had dinner - spicy chicken, orzo and courgette soup from the 5:2 cookbook. Tasy and filling for now. Did gym session this morning and have had only150gr strawberries and two coffees today. First time I had such little food during the day but it went well. Now contemplating some desert. No-fat yoghurt with frozen raspberries or last glass of Shiraz that was left from last night? Feel like the latter but probably have the healthy option.
Work day ends in two hours, or so. Can't stop thinking about food!
:0)
Hi Debs, sorry to hear that you are under the weather and needed comforting. I know how that feels! And Sallyo I like corn thins with peanut butter, especially with sliced banana on top.... Still fasting as just liquids for me today, must stop talking about food.

Debs, my son is on the mend, stitches out today from one leg and the fluid in the other may have to be drained but is improving. He is still sore and strapped in the neck brace but seems cheerful, so all good, thank you for asking. When you are well we must catch up again and have our slimmer's lunch.
Good to hear, and yes, looking forward to lunch!
Btw, forgot about the banana or I'd have had that too!!
HI guys - I'm in for my final fast of the week. I have to say, switching form 5:2 liquid has been the making of my morale this week. I've done two including 1 yesterday and feel perfect. I had 2 eggs for breaky and will have cauliflower rice for dinner with some cheese.
Hi, I'm in today, ate lots yesterday as gave blood. I've changed tack slightly by having an 80 calorie protein shake first thing (rather than nothing), but will stick to coffee with skimmed milk during the day and have some soup and veg tonight. Good luck to all.
Morning all, usual Thursday faster here. Good luck to all x
I'm in!

I'll need to employ a lot of willpower today, as I'm taking the kids to a party in the afternoon, and I am a sucker for party food.

I'm having a small baked potato for dinner.... and then I have an exercise class this evening.
I'm in today :) Having my 6 cal jellies for lunch and breakfast and then quorn meatballs, brown pasta and bolognese sauce for tea (433 cals).

I was really naughty last night and had sweets and crisps watching movies. Probably went about 500 over my 2000 cals...Does anyone think this calls for an extra fast day!? Because I've been doing well and don't want to ruin it so I'm wondering if I should do 4:3 this week

Hope I'm not just overthinking things!
Well, made it through the day but only just. Having an early night and looking forward to brekkie! Cheers.

I did the same tuesday night watching Homeland - I shouldn't have opened that packet of american jellybeans.....or the can of coke to wash them down
ended up eating 2,300 cals

So am interested in your question should I do the 4:3 as well this week?

Fasting today anyway
My day is almost done, have had dinner and some berries and yoghurt. I'm starving tonight though so I think it's wise to go to bed and dream of breakfast. :sleepy:
Funny Wino, that's exactly what I have just had. After a failed day I am off to bed! Good luck all,
