We are in again as well. Second and last fast for this week.

It's cold, wet and miserable outside so not looking forward to today.

It's the usual Thursday fast for me, feeling a bit envious of you Aussies who have made it through the day and/or are about to eat!

My stomach is rumbling, which is usual for 11am. Did a session at the gym this morning - I'm noticing I have to run a little bit faster on the treadmill to get my heart rate up these days, but then my legs complain!

Yesterday I did a 16:8 to try to make up for only doing one fast last week, and eating and drinking plenty on holiday. I'm hoping there's not too much damage on the scales tomorrow.

I'm in today! Rough day ahead at work, so I'm a bit nervous about fasting today, but hoping for te best. I'm thinking soup for lunch and then maybe the cauliflower rice and a veggie burger for dinner. Good luck everyone!
Mid-morning here in the UK - bet Zamale is tucked up nicely by now :sleepy: in the land of zzzzzzzzzzzs. Hope you had a good fast day Zamale :smile:
Just joined this forum - on my 3rd week of 5:2 diet, and looking forward to updating the progress tracker. I wrote them down at home! Today is a fast day for me too (Thursday) but I was so hungry this morning that I had to eat my 190 calorie porridge at 10am. It's going to be a loooooong day!
In reply to those who asked about adding an extra fast day after over-indulging - in my personal experience, an occasional day of exceeding my TDEE does not affect my weight loss over the week. In other words, I have had some pretty indulgent days and still lost weight at the weekly weigh-in. The trick seems to be to make sure to stay within my TDEE on all the other days and limit the indulgence to one day only. (I use the TDEE value from the Progress Tracker here.)

The day is nearly done here in Oz, well done to those who fasted successfully and good luck to those whose day is still ahead of them. And to those who struggled/are struggling, be kind to yourself - tomorrow is another day. :heart:
I´m in too! I got a flu and doctor gave me antibiotics. I had fast day at tuesday and had only lunch. Then I took antibiotic at the evening to empty stomach... NOT a good idea, it made really bad feeling. Had to take a little bite and it helped. Now I saved little calories to the evening, so I can eat a little bit with the antibiotic.

Show must go on!!
I'm in and hoping I don't have the same headache I had on Monday. It's nice to be back in control though!
Goodnight all. I had an easy fast day today and didn't need any miso soup or anything. OH has survived the procedure but is feeling sore and sorry for himself. Dinner of North African soup made with lamb, chickpeas and tomatoes was yummy and had an almond biscuit as well, which was a little bit naughty- but I stopped at one. I hope to see weight loss at the morning weigh in because the last week hasn't been good. Take care of yourselves tonight.

Had 2 coffees with a splash of milk and still feeling good!
Just completed a short cross country run in the glorious yorkshire countryside. Sun is shining here although it is chilly!
Hoping to last until 7pm when I am probably having soup xxx
I'm in again today. Last fast of the week for me. So far all I have is water and green tea...but am looking forward to my usual M&S meal tonight...mmm
Lunchtime here and I'm sucking a Werthers sugar free candy, 8 cals and my first calories today. I went to my running group and she had us doing interval training and hills - hard work. According to my clever watch I used 500 cals, which is why I love training on a Fast day.
Thanks to the versatility of this W O E I am in today, usually do a Wednesday but was at a grandsons 8th birthday party yesterday so had cake and all the other usual treats. :grin: I will have a nice roast beef salad tonight, have already been out for my run so all is well in Nessie land. :lol: Good fasting to you all :clover:
I'm in... I just had a packet of prawns though, everybody else was eating around me and I got hungry so I left the sarnie munchers and went to the shop for something low cal! Phew...
Im in today too folks. 2nd fast of the week and dont feel as tired and cold today as i did on Monday. Survived on water so far today but have my tin of WW 50 calorie chicken noodle soup for late afternoon and will probably have a big omelette for dinner filled with pepper, onion and goats cheese.
