I think this is going to be my last week on 5:2 as after 9 weeks I've barely lost anything, if anything at all. Fed up! Must be over eating on fast days though that's all I can think of.

I know calorie counting on an eating day is a pain, but if you try it for a week you may be able to spot what's going on.
Have you got much to lose btw?

Usual Thursday fast for me, think I need it, had a bit of a binge day yesterday. I have no idea why I just ate and ate and ate, all cr&p! Oh well..not worth worrying about, it was like my fast....just one day

Well I'm 11st2 and 5'7-8 so I'm in the average bmi and my waist to height ratio is in the healthy range too but I'd like to get down to about 10st7 really. I thought I wanted to get down to 10 but can't see that happening.

I know what my problem is :( haha drinking and eating rubbish on weekends. I know it sounds bad but I don't want to give up my wine! But 4 glasses of wine on a Friday night is about 800cals and that's nearly half of my TDEE so then I'm probaby consuming 2500cals or more on Fridays and Saturdays. It's my own fault I know. This WOL is letting me maintain whilst eating and drinking pretty much what I want on 5 days a week but I'm not losing.

I'm in today. There was a sudden 2.5 kg (!) weight gain on Monday (possibly due to a very salty evening meal on Sunday) and it's taken me all week to get back to a "normal" weight but getting there and hope today's fast will help.

Doing a big hike tomorrow so will make sure to have a big breakfast tomorrow, looking forward to that, but for now, a black coffee. :)

I'm in too, and like others, I've been on holiday recently and am feeling hungry on this damp grey morning.
Still, lets all start to think about the 'little black dress' that we may want to wear at those Xmas parties and be spurred on to trim down and feel lovely!! (Sorry for mentioning Xmas!)
I'm in today. After a pretty awful week last week, I have kept off the wine since Sunday! Hoping it will help when I go on the scales on Saturday! :smile:
I´m in too! Had good breakfast and with liquids rest of the day. I´m participating to 10 km running contest at saturday. First ever!!! I´m very proud that I can run the 10 km, I started training at June and never liked running before. :)
I wasnt planning to fast today cos I did it yesterday but I've forgotten my lunch at home and I refuse to buy extra. So I'm in. Never done a back-to-back fast so hoping it'll go as easy as yesterday's. Good luck all.

Haha! The rate I'm losing my hopes of a slim trim 2014 Christmas isn't looking good! :wink:
Hi everyone,
I'm fasting today. Quite hungry now but will eat dinner soon. I barbecued some chicken,cauliflower,eggplant and pumpkin last night so I'm going to invent some sort of warm salad with baby spinach and pomegranate molasses as a dressing. Cant wait. No idea of calories but guessing it will be around 300 if i have a cereal sized bowl full.@Wineoclock, have a wonderful time away. I don't want to restrict calories when i go to Phuket in 3 weeks ( but who's counting ) so I'm thinking of 16.8 while I'm away as I'm getting used to not having breakfast everyday now. It worked for Caroline.
I'm in today but finding today a little harder already than I did Tuesday. I quit working a few weeks ago and now with the kids back in school I am a little bored and that gets me thinking about food. It's also miserably cold and wet today which doesn't help.

Must find something to do!
