I'm in today, hoping to hit Valentines & Christmas challenge target tomorrow - it will take a bit of a miracle, but I have an outside chance

Going to keep busy, then have a leftover chicken thigh in tomato and olive sauce for dinner tonight. Would like to get my 10k steps in today, but its not exactly inviting out there.

Hope things get better soon @GoLinda. And good luck with the valentines challenge weigh in @carieoates We'll have to take a deep breath before we step on the scales tomorrow
My 4th fast today, hoping I'll find it easier than Monday. Just up now drinking my black coffee. Good luck to all the fellow fasters today!
Morning everyone, I'm in today. Bit concerned about my valentines target because I've got 0.5 of a lb to go....but I weigh every day and average it out on a Monday. I'm worried after a couple of days eating normally and one fast today won't be enough!! Maybe I should take a leaf out of some other's books and weigh the day after a fast day? I don't know.
I'm in too. I hope it goes better than monday's fast, i was cold and fed up most of monday. I have some liquorice tea to try later at 2 cals. Anyone else had it before?
Good luck with your fast today everyone! I'll be doing my again tomorrow...got birthday meal, out today...woo hoo!!

I am fasting today. Have a bit of a heavy weekend coming up. Although I am more than able to control myself these days with food, it's not fair on hubby not to partake in a bit of valentines day tomorrow and I've got us a really nice meal so may well fast during the day tomorrow too.

We are away at friends this weekend and I imagine it won't be a calorie controlled affair but that's what I love about fasting - it's so flexible!
I'm in too, Happy fasting everyone :clover:
I'm fasting today. Lots of work but hope to make it to the gym too. I usually find that exercise is a good hunger-killer. Looking forward to tonight's cauliflower-base pizza.
Good luck to all fasters especially those aiming for their Valentine's Day goals
I am in! I need to have a really good fast today to detox after a naughty burger and chips I had last night!
I'm in :) Just gulped down a lemon green tea - I really can't stand green tea, wish I could get used to it. So far, the only way I can have it is to down it really fast when it cools down! Haven't lost anything in 3 weeks now, so hoping the addition of green tea may do SOMETHING to help. Also will be drinking plenty of fennel tea and water through the day :) Then I have Pork Goulash soup for dinner tonight.

Good luck everyone :)
Only my second day of fasting, first on Tuesday. Biggest problem I have is once I eat anything it just gives me the munchies. Can I munch on carrot sticks during the day? I'm hoping to lose a couple of pounds this week :)
Lesley, you can as long as they count to your 500 cals, BUT you just answered your own question - eating gives you the muchies.
Hi all,
I'm in for the fast today. However i have been struggling recently :frown: I started off really well, fast days were ok, managed to get through the day ok not eating all day having an evening meal of around 400 cals saving 100 cals for evening snack and felt great. Went from 12st 9lb to 12st 1lb in three weeks :victory:
But the last three fasts (usually fast Monday and Thursday) I have been feeling really horrible by 4/5pm. My stomach gets all cramped up and the headaches...bad isn't the word. I drink plenty of fluids as I know we get a lot of water from food but to no avail and ended up caving and over eating I then felt so much better about an hour later. I have managed to maintain my weight during the last few weeks so I suppose that's a bonus.
I won't give up though. Im going to double the amount of fluids I normally consume on a fast day (am prepared for the constant loo visits)and see how today goes.
Wish me luck
Just finished my fast and off to shower and bed! It will be a cool shower - it's still 34 degrees in my house!
I was really nervous about today's fast, my colleagues and I decided on a Zumba class after work and I really didn't want to miss today's fast with tomorrow's Valentines weigh in. So I packed 6 almonds to go with my 5pm banana and managed just fine!
Well...what I actually mean is that I didn't feel faint or dizzy while doing Zumba  The class, however, was very embarrassing! If I didn't know I have no coordination before, I certainly know now
And I had thought a step class was bad!

Bring on tomorrow's weigh in!
Good luck Sallyo and all for todays fab fast :clover:
Not having my usual thurs fast, DD and SIL been home a few days,go back to london later today,so i might just enjoy a little something to eat and drink with them before they go
This time,Fasting can wait i think!
