Not for me today unfortunately, interview this morning but I'm trying not to think about it, much!!! I need something to keep me going before then as I've been awake since 4am!! I shall try and exercise some restraint and trying not to get my hopes up too much.
Well done Sallyo on the new trousers!
Good luck all new fasters, and hope to see you all on Monday!
Good luck with the interview!
I'm fasting today, just checking the body though as I gave almost half a litre of blood yesterday, depends I may up the calories by 200. Will see, happy fasting folks.
Well done to Sally and good luck to Debs with the interview!

I'm in today. Had a bit of a carb heavy dinner last night but haven't found it's affected my hunger too much today? I feel OK. Have been rumbling but it's gone again now. When it comes back I'll have a miso.
Got two friends doing this now which is lovely :)
Liquids all day with lots of broccoli and ricotta for dinner tonight.. yummy?!

Lil
Congratulations and well done Sally, I love Red!!

Good luck Debs, I am sorry I will not be able to join you in the fast day, I am having a BLAH! day, will try tomorrow, if not it will have to be Monday.

Happy Fasting everyone.
cheers Maggie.

Everything ok out there @Maggiee?
Fantastic Sally, bet you look fabulous! :like: Red is one of my favourite colours too. Good luck for the interview Debs :clover: and hugs to Maggie.

I'm about to have my first coffee of the day; grocery shopping later as cupboards are bare. Am thinking maybe sushi and strawberries for dinner...

Have a lovely day everyone!
I'm in too and just had my usual fast day lunch and feeling happy. I did a 16:8 yesterday and stopped eating about 6.30 last night. For the first time ever I felt hungry during the night. I had a restless night and just felt hungry. I decided during the night that I may leave my fast til Saturday but happily I wasn't hungry when I woke up so have been able to continue. I will have to have a think about the 16:8 as usually I only do it if I am skipping breakfast so I can then eat til about 8pm. Not sure I like stopping at 6.30 though I do do that on fast days and it doesn't bother me mmmmmmmm. I will have to think on that one!

Well done Sally on the size 14! I look forward to dredging my old ones out of the wardrobe hopefully in the first half of 2014!
Hi all, I'm in today too. Cold and wet here and I'm not very motivated but refuse to give in. This is me looking stalwart!

Best wishes for the interview Deb, probably a bit late for that now as it is 1pm already and you said morning for it, but hope it went well anyway. I've only just got to the forum, frantically trying to finish a quilt for my niece who has a birthday very very soon, like days away, and have hours and hours of work to do yet, oh dear!

Congratulations Sallyo, you must look stunning in your red Capri pants, you disappearing woman you!

Maggie, hope the BLAH day improves for you

Just having a hot cup of tea to keep me going and then back to the sewing. Hope all is good for everyone fasting today. :geek:
I've only had a coffee so far and lots of water and not overly hungry. But because I know my miso's are there I want them. Is anyone else like that?
I should liquid only fast today really as going out for dinner and drinks tomorrow night. But I just find it depressing with no food to look forward to in the evening.

Glad you're feeling good Denwoman :) Judio would you like me to get my Mrs Motivator out on you?! :D

Lil
I'm in. Been out for coffee with a friend. Nothing now till 6pm. Cheers everyone.
It's still Wednesday here, and wrapping up a good fast day after indulging big time yesterday. After a no-carb or caffeine fast day followed by water only the morning of my PET scan I HAD to have coffee and a... round pastry that shall not be mentioned in the fasting today thread....

Huge thanks again for the encouragement on my scan. I'll find out tomorrow if it's the big C. Good luck to all in fighting the good fight another day (and I hope Debs aced the interview!).
Hmm... Feeling a little hungry today. This week I fasted Tuesday instead of Monday, I do tend to get hungrier when there is only one feast day between my fasts. Oh well, I have a full thermos of Oolong tea that I will take with me to night class, should keep me going for the rest of the evening...
Hello Everybody

The blah feeling is slowly going - just the spring hay fever returning, and all those grasses flapping in the wind!

I hope you have all had a successful Fast day, and many thanks for your caring comments, very much appreciated.

Let's hope I can fast tomorrow, I need it.

cheers Maggie.
