In a trice but I need a job first
I'm in, final fast of the week :) Quorn meatballs and a small amount of brown penne with chunky vegetable blognese sauce for dinner tonight - comes in at 404 cals leaving me some spare for a coffee or two :)
I'm in with you all today.

Had no breakfast this morning as really wasn't hungry so didn't bother. Starting to feel the rumbling now but I am sure that I can hold off until dinner, although I do have an apple and clementine in my drawer for later this afternoon when it starts getting a bit harder.

Planned dinner is grilled chicken breast with vegetables.

I am feeling good that my body seems to be adjusting to this fairly quickly, but I am a bit sad as I do love my food and don't want to get to a point where I don't want to eat on eating days! I also refuse to say no to chocolate or a bit of cake on eating days but I am learning that limiting this is a good thing!
I am in & rather hungry because I had starchy carbs yesterday....just trying to ignore the rumbles.
I am in and just had lunch (Beef Bovril)..
Not sure what is for dinner tonight?
My weekly weigh in and measure up tomorrow. I don't feel too confident this time round? I think I have over indulged on my feed days!
I'm having a good fast day, I managed to complete my run before it started to rain.
We are having curry for dinner tonight, and I've just made myself a pot of vegetable curry with lentils and quorn mince. I planned it on MFP and assumed it would make 2 servings but it looks more like 3 servings which will make my 300 cal dinner a 200 cal one!
Trying another day where only eat at tea- time - about 340 cals in all - see what effect this has on the scales tomorrow / this weekend. Lovely sunny and mild day here, just back from a short walk to blow away the cobwebs, and it really does feel like most of the winter is over ... Cue snow / frost / rain / storms!
I've been fasting today too. Just herb tea, black coffee and water all day. I have soup and a slice of lightly-buttered wholemeal planned for dinner. My fast day mantra is always, "I can have it tomorrow!" so I've been daydreaming about cake (Victoria sponge or carrot cake), cheese and ham toasted croissant, and sweet potato falafals (from Waitrose). I doubt I'll have all those things (though you never know!) but the thought keeps me going! I'm only 1.6 lbs away from my goal weight so I'm super motivated right now :)
Yes I'm in too. All fine except I confess I'm sipping my second diet coke. I like to have one on a fast day but a second only occasionally if I'm desperate, I know it's not the greatest nutritionally.

It could be worse though: I was at a training day today and the typical 'lunch' was wheeled in - white bread sarnies with cheddar and coleslaw, crisps, wrapped cake... I got out my salad and genuinely enjoyed not having to eat all the refined carbs on offer. No-one commented thankfully but someone who was tucking into it said she was on a meal replacement diet, but it would have been 'too much hassle today' ... it made me very grateful not to be doing any more diets!

Good luck to all fasters today and to anyone weighing in tomorrow ... :clover: :clover: :clover:
I ditched my fast today because I think, I, too, have a mild case of labyrinthitis. At least I have the stuffy ears that my previous experience started with. I didn't want to further stress myself with fasting and also with walking in the 12 degree (F) cold to exercise class or other activities, so I'm sticking around the house to keep warm and as unstressed as possible. Right now the stuffiness seems to be migrating from the left to the right ear. Hoping not to develop the severe vertigo, vomiting, etc. ! Good luck to all you fellow Thursday fasters--hope to join you next week.
Fasting today and feeling hungry earlier than usual. Trying to stick to my water and hold off eating something till later. Finding it tough so I hopped on the forum for inspiration. Thanks so much everyone for being here. I never would have made it so far without this place.
Fast day nearly over, with enough calories for a bedtime Hot Choc and possibly a Vanilla Activia now.
Weigh in day tomorrow. Fingers crossed.
Fasting today too. I am having my soup right now. I've been fasting regularly (2x/wk since Nov.) but since Christmas, I've been up and down the same 5 lbs. I keep indulging on my feast days and I can see a pattern here. I need to step it up a bit. Starting a 30 day challenge today for exercising. It's amazing how fast a month goes by! Good luck to everyone today!
I'm doing my second fast day today. I'll get to bed time easily but I'm going into work at 2300h tonight. From what I've read I'm meant to fast from dinner last night until breakfast tomorrow. I'll be happy if I can make it to 0400h. Night shift definitely throws a wrench into fasting, at least when switching from days to nights!
2nd Fasting day. Today I decided to take others advice and not eat as long as possible. Its 2 pm here and have just had 3 cups of tea and 4 almonds so far. So far so good ;-)
