Morning all Thursday fasters. It is 6:23am and the sun is just coming up in NSW. Not so cold this morning. Good luck to you all today. This is the start of my 14th week of 5:2 - amazed that I have stuck with this so long and find it so simple.
I'm in too, tho no sun in my part of NSW, just ominous looking black clouds! Tired today and had an abnormal bfst (roast veg left over from last nights dinner) rather than my usual veg soup. Got a flask of coffee and an apple if I get ravenous. Not so much in the mood for fasting today, I think cos I'm so tired, however I had a sneaky weigh in yesterday and it looks like the plateau has gone and since tomorrow is weigh in official day, I will be a good girl :>) I'll check back in later to see if everyone is doing well.
Hi GMH waves. Ditto byong in NSW sun should be rising, can't tell too cold to exert my self but am in my 19th week of 5:2 with twists and nearing 5 months along on this journey and like you I cannot believe the elegant simplicity of this WOE. We are lucky. I will last as long as I can with fluids with low calories and for dinner a hearty soup with lots of veggies. Then I should be back on track, onward to closer to goal fingers crossed

Good fasting day wishes for all
Good luck GMH and Gillymary. Hoping to break the plateau myself this week. Clothes feel looser I think.
Hi All. Should be a sunny but cool day here. Haven't lost anything for months now. But not putting on either. I think my body just likes this weight. It will be lots of veggies for dinner tonight so I'm off to the shops later to stock up.
After holidays and visitors I've got my fasting back in control. Feels so much better. Weather's freezing here but it doesn't make me eat more anymore. Think I've now got my headaches under control - I now only have coffee for breakfast (was having porridge) and have started to have miso soup at lunch. They (headaches) were always a mid-afternoon thing and would be absolute crackers by the evening. Bonus of this is that I have more calories saved up for dinner! I'm now 3 months into this WOE and, like others, can't believe how easy it's been! (Except for those headaches ...)
Will be joining you when I wake up to Thursday over here in the uk. Good luck xx
I'm in WA, chilly morning so I'll be drinking lots of herbal tea to warm me up until lunch time...cottage cheese and fruit planned. good luck all:)
I'm doing my second part of a fast I started last night. I've a bit of a cold, not too heavy. Looking forward to tonight's meal which will be with my friends, all singers. Then off to Blue Mountains to housesit for a week. It's been very busy for us this week. Good luck to us all, I'll enjoy the food I eat later.
I'm here too as usual, 19 weeks and counting. I agree 5:2 has been the easiest thing I ever did to lose weight, and not once have I felt deprived.

A lovely sunny morning here, albeit a bit chilly. Have some errands to run and then I need to work out what to have for dinner, maybe something from the Hairy Dieters, mmm...

Have a lovely day everyone!
I'm fasting today. Have done my hours walk this morning and as I have not planned meals I will revert to my favourite(or easiest)200g garlic mushrooms and egg and miso soup, and should have calories left over. Happy fasting and hope you all have an enjoyable day
I'm in -3rd for this week. Hopefully I'll fall off this plateau ;)
I'm in. Fast #8 and counting and loving this WOE!
back on after missing Mondays fast as on holiday, may try and make it up another day, mixed weather her on the Gold coast warm isn with clouds
FREEZING today. It's sunny, but only about 15 degrees, my fingers are still too numb to type properly at lunchtime. Oh I hate winter! Second fast of the week. Drinking lots of green tea, trying to warm up, but think a long brisk walk in the sun going to be the only thing that thaws me out today.
