Pouring with rain, again. And it poured all night too. I'm fasting today. Just starting off with coffee. Planning an Asian omelette with shitake mushrooms on brown rice for dinner. I think a small amount of rice is ok and I won't eat anything all day, except for Miso soup. I'll run the recipe through My Fitness Pal and see what it tells me. Have a good day, fellow fasters.
I'll be joining you when it's morning in the UK. At the moment I'm trying to finish this bottle of wine before I go to bed! :booze:
100gm of cooked brown rice = 112 calories. and it's less calories than the tablespoon of oil, used to cook the eggs! But how much raw rice is that? Enjoy those last drops, Jemima.
Hey Sally,
I'm in too :)
Gorgeous day here in Sydney! I've had a coffee this morning with some chocolate soy milk and will get by all day on herbal teas as usual. I have a sugar free red bull for lunch, lol.
Dinner will be a couple of boiled eggs, quarter is an avocado with some spinach and light dressing.
Have a great fast everyone!

just got cloudy on the Gold Coast, i was down in Sydney CBD yesterday - it was an absolutely beautiful day, coffee this am, cauliflower soup for tea - yummy
I'm here. Hi everyone. Windy and sunny here. I thinks its going to be 30 degrees. Too hot for spring. :clover: I want my beautiful 20-24 degree days back please! :rainbow: :watermelon: :sun: Just tea and water today and an asian soup tonight. Xxxx
I'm in. Horrible weather here - rainy and windy. Just the day for curling up with a good book.
It's Thursday - so it's a fast day.

Nice day in Hong Kong. The temperature is around 28C but the humidity is way down to 78% and you can feel the difference. We just had the Mid-Autumn Festival here; however, it's only just beginning to feel like autumn is on its way.
And here comes the hunger..
Hope everyone elses is going OK.

Hi all.
Count me in for a fast today, busy day at work so should be easy, lots of espresso to drink throughout the day. Not sure what to have for dinner yet but that is some hours away. Weight loss seems to be slowing down need to kick start it again or the scales are lying again. Good luck all Fasters.
Week 6, day 12.
It is gonna be a hard fastday today for me. I am going out for dinner tonight... There was no chance to swap my fastdays this week. So for the first time I am going to try to save all my calories for the evening (never tried that, always have had breakfast). It will also be difficult to estimate my calories from a dinner I can't choose myself. And to hold back when hungry...
Good Morning, it's good to see some Australians here, we missed you yesterday.

I'm in, just starting day 2 of a 2 consecutive day Fast, I don't really like doing this but social events have made it impossible to find 2 Fast days for what feels like weeks, so here I am.
A fiend has invited me to call in for breakfast (???) on my way back from the school run so I have accepted and told her that coffee would be lovely (she knows I fast).
Grey and overcast here, I'm hoping that by the time I get home it will have brightened up and I'll go for a run. My OH and I spent some time yesterday clearing nettle and overhanging bamboo off part of a public footpath I use for my run, so it's ready for me.

Happy Fasting everyone :clover:
That does sound tough Rasa :(
If it were me I would opt for a soup, a salad (dressing on the side) or maybe a burger and just eat the middle and not the bread. Avoid the carbs!
Lil
Oh no.. this is the first fast day where I actually feel sick with hunger :( how rubbish. One hour until dinner. Luckily.
Lil
I'm fasting again for my second time this week. Actually not looking forward to it at the moment (I think the rubbish grey weather is putting me off!)
Good luck all those lovely people fasting today

Peace and love,

Dreamer
