Ever an incentive if you need one!
Oh yum that sounds an amazing dinner! I might go for cannelloni tomorrow actually, haven't had it for ages.

And here come the hunger pangs that will no longer be suppressed.. no matter how much tea I drink! 4 hours until dinner :)

Lunch time... delaying eating my lunch - an apple.
mooooooorniiiiiiiiing :bye: I'm in, hope everybody has a great day :clover:
Morning all!
I am in for a very challenging fast - there will be Dominos Pizza at my work this lunchtime as we are having a send off party for a colleague.
I did eat pizza last night instead so will tell my stomach that was it's treat! Hopefully it will listen!!

Wish me luck xxx
Morning all,

I'm in for my second fast of the week. Lovely morning here in SE England though I know it isn't going to last so my OH is taking our son to school so I can fit in a run before getting ready (mentally and physically) for a 10 AM Dentist and Hygenist appointment. I always feel I deserve a treat afterwards though.

Good luck everyone :clover:
Morning everyone :) I'm in and off to work - it really suits me while I'm working, but this year (academic year) I'm teaching different days and two are consecutive, so I'm trying to do two consecutive fasts. 3 weeks into this timetable and it is proving much harder than separate days.

I REALLY enjoy Fridays now! No work, and food!! :)
I'm in. Hopefully more successful than Monday when my parents brought chocolate round. Going to try making carrot and coriander soup for tea. Good luck everyone!
I'm in. Monday was the first successful fast for a couple of weeks so motivation is higher this week. Some kind of a chicken broth for dinner - already have the stock, will see what turns up in today's veg box to add to it.
Morning all :)

I'm in, 2nd fast back after my hols, put on 2lbs while away so aiming to get that back off first :)

First fast shed all my excess water weight from the travelling, but i've been hungry since i've been back so this could be a challenge!

Good luck all
Probably five hours till dinner. My stomach is counting the minutes...
Morning all, usual Thursday fast for me!

Hope it's a good one x
I'm in too. Have already had my dinner (sushi) so am into the easy part of the day. Doing 5:2 has become so much a part of my life that I find I forget to check in here. Regarding the talk about plateaus and length of time on 5:2, my personal observation after almost seven months and 18 kg lost is that the closer I get to my 'ideal' weight range, the smaller the weekly loss. I have also had trips away and family celebrations in the past month that slowed me down (because I truly believe life is meant to be enjoyed) but I'm way beyond chuffed that I am so close to my target weight and not once have I felt deprived in any way. 5:2 has changed my life.
