I'm in! Having my morning cup of tea and then onto water for the rest of the day - saving up for dinner tonight, but will have enough leeway for another proper cup of tea later I think. I just can't get on with fruit teas and the thought of drinking an oxo cube makes me feel a bit ill.
I am in today too. Just prepared all my veg for my prawn stir fry tonight. it looks like a mountain plus have enough left to have my cups of teas and a small bowl of tinned fruit. It is so true how on fast days everything you eat is like eating something naughty.
I'm in :) Final fast of the week, having plenty of water and tea during the day before Pork Goulash soup tonight - a big tub is only 280 cals! Very hungry but keep thinking it'll be worth it when I can have the takeaway I'm having tomorrow to celebrate my OH being home on leave
I am 'in' today. Good luck everyone. :clover:
Me too, me too!
Two cups of coffee down.... moving on to the fizzy water.
(It's my Fastiversary this week/next week too, but I'll be posting about that separately.)
happy fasting folks.
yikes I'm in after 3 weeks of travelling - put up 9lbs - right back to where I began as always. :-( It takes so long to get off and so quick to go back on
I'm in today. Work should keep me busy& distracted. Still surprised at how I'm starting to look forward to fast days .
Whole wheat linguine w/ clams, shrimp & shredded zucchini on deck for dinner, a bag of raw veggies for work in case I get the munchies this afternoon, all for 479 total. Looking forward to another cup of coffee at the moment! Happy fasting all.
struggling now. tummy definitely thinks it's lunctime! Off to get another glass of water!
Me too

Started with a good session at the gym, despite my 'frozen shoulder'. The only tricky bit is undoing the top fastener on my sports bra, but if I do it quickly the pain comes and goes and I think of it a bit like a fast day - sometimes you have to grin and bear it but it doesn't last forever!

Tomorrow is my last weigh-in of January and I'd so like to be on @Juliana.Rivers Christmas Club GREEN list, although I don't think it's realistic given that would mean dropping 3lb in a week  ... but even another pound closer to my Christmas goal would be a result.

Good luck all and happy fasting :clover: :clover:
I'm in today too. I had some egg whites for breakfast and a big glass of squash and am feeling surprisingly un-hungry for almost 1pm. Having a cup of coffee now to postpone lunch a bit longer.
Hi all,

I'm in today - 2nd fast of the week. Had one peppermint tea and one normal tea so far, trying not to eat until supper!
Ive had to eat, felt a bit wobbly. So had two slices of ham, 12, almonds and a Brazil nut. Loads of tea a coffee and a bouillon. Chicken and veg stir fry tonight, but going to get my nail extensions done first. Let's hope my tummy rumbles don't appear
Hi fellow fasters.
I'm in today (eighth fast since early January) and experimented working out at the gym this morning. It was a great way to make time fly and I was surprised to find it had no real impact on my hunger level. It's 3 p.m. in France as I write and, having sipped just black and herbal tea so far, yes I'm hungry, but no more than a usual fast day. A real learning curve!
I hope to hold out until tonight when I'm planning chicken breast + salad.
Happy fasting day to you all
I'm on a fast day too today - this is only my second week but so far so good. I just had 2 hard boiled eggs and half a cucumber for lunch and have bought in an "Aromatic spinach daal" from Waitrose (normally shop at Tescos but someone recommended this as lovely and filling)for my dinner tonight. Good luck everyone! x ps - now off to treat myself to another black coffee......
I'm in today and freezing here in the USA! I started 5:2 last April and am finding the winter to be so much harder. It seems that it's harder for me to keep my hands warm on fast days. Oh well, I'm still motivated since I've lost about 20 pounds and can honestly say this is the easiest 20 pounds I have ever lost. Twenty more then I'll have to figure out maintenance. But for now I just have to go get another hot drink to warm up my hands on!
