Unexpectedly I'm in today as well.

I hadn't eaten breakfast this morning, because my colleague told me he was going to treat us all to some cake since it's his birthday. But unfortunately he called in sick today, so no cake this morning and no breakfast. I even brought my fastday-lunch-salad with me, so why not make it a real fastday today.
Unfortunately I do have a headache that's bothering me, but as long as it doesn't get worse, I'll probably be okay for the rest of the fastday.

Good luck to us all today
Welcome @murphf, greetings all.

I must be having a good fast day because I don't normally dare peek in the Fasting-Today thread. I looked in once and all you talk about is food!!!

I'm not much of a one for fasting and I'm amazed that there are some maintaineers who say they won't drop the fast days because they would miss them! For me, they are a price to pay (and well worth paying) for the luxury of freedom to eat whatever I want five days a week and not regain.

I had 5 pistachios and a piece of carrot for breakfast, perhaps that's why I'm feeling unusually good, usually I try to get through the morning without food on a fast day. I'm also amazed by the eating-window people, how do you do it?!! I can usually manage till noon, on my two fast days, but generally at the expense of feeling crotchety and a bit dim.

I'm looking forward to lunch which will be:
Large wedge of raw white cabbage, a carrot, a larger runner bean, about 6 sugar snap peas, 3 cherry tomatoes, 1 can of tuna with beans and sweetcorn, 20 pistachios and 2 clementines. I have the same every fast day, except that the fruit will vary.
Dinner will be a small piece of steak, loads of broccoli or other green veg, a slice of potato. Strawberries and WW yoghurt for dessert. Diet coke at the pub.
I'm in. Haven't had time to read the thread today, looks interesting! Happy fasting all.
Count me in too. Scales have been kind to me this morning. Hope everyone has a good day.
I'm in today. Just finished a high protein breakfast. Doing my C25K training this afternoon and then dinner! They had oreos at work yesterday and I ate a few too many! Hoping to reverse any negative effects from that!
I'm with you today. Much needed fast as it was OH's birthday yesterday and some champagne was drunk.
Really busy this morning so the day has sped by so far but I've just torn myself from my computer for a cup of tea and felt a bit wobbly. The feeling will go away I guess but it's the first time it's happened to me and a bit unnerving.
Looking forward to tonight's frugal meal.
Good luck to you all.
I' m in! Lets do it folks! X :like:
Yay, my headache is subsiding slowly. The good weather also helps me feeling better. Still going strong today.
Fasting day today and going ok. Looking forward to my chicken curry tonight.
Pooh chicken curry? On a fast night too. How wonderful! I'll be having chicken in creamy mushroom sauce with new potatoes and green beans...all for 281 cals! How good is that, eh?! I love M&S

Bean :starving:
Well my day went to pot fast (lol). I have had 750 cals so not too bad and still down on TDEE.
I'm in today! Having a cup of tea!
Im still here! The day is nearly over, thank goodness. The car was in the garage again so I walked for 90mins while babywearing the 22lb toddler and that was after my morning c25k run....phew! All the exercise made me hungry today. I had to keep the pangs at bay with low cal protein shakes and fizzy water.
Just woke up! I wish we has an M &S here @nursebean that sounds so yummy!
Woop woop!! I finally hit the big 20 kg loss ( 20.2 to be exact) and 1 more cm gone from waist- so happy!!
