Every day there will be a new topic in this forum for today's fasters to chat & support each other.
Please don't make extra threads in here besides the daily fasting threads, if you've got a question please post it in the relevant forum or ask in today's 'Fasting Today' thread, thank you.
Thank you all for your comments about banks. We have signed up to join Members Equity bank which is owned by superannuation funds. It seems good. They don't have any branches so you do it all on line but there aren't any fees or anything. I can have lots of little accounts to save money for various projects and it doesn't cost me anything. It is a relief to be able to withdraw my money from that other pack of robbers.
I am hoping to see a little drop in the scales tomorrow.

@Auriga - Good luck with the dreaded plateau
Aim to eat my small meal about 2 or 3pm, then that's it until breakfast tomorrow (I think that's how it works?)
So envious of the people out East - your day is just ending and I'm just starting!!
I've decided to lose a couple more pounds to give me a buffer should I gain a few pounds (like I did over the holidays). My new target is 126, so have 3.5 to lose, should be do'able with 5:2
It's ironic how determined I can be when I know I have to lose pounds; why do I have a harder time maintaining and not be able to stay disciplined about what/how much I eat - sigh
Lanky - you should eat 500 calories. How you do it is up to you. I choose to eat breakfast (about 150 calories) and then dinner (about 350 calories.) Other people choose to save their 500 calories for dinner and some people choose to eat 3 small meals throughout the day. Good luck!
I'm on my second coffee of the working day, and doing ok considering I haven't eaten since last night. Mind you I did have a biggish dinner followed by an avocado.
Should be ok to go a couple more hours without before eating today's calories.
