Congrats @Sallyo, to you and yours for the big celebrations! That feast sounded absolutely delicious...worthy if a great celebration

However...all that talk of yumminess has got my tummy rumbling, and it's not helping a fast day...especially since I forgot it was Birthday morning tea today... Caught a glimpse of all the amazing goodies while I toddled off to another "meeting" in a different part of the campus where I can enjoy my black coffee with an admin who is stuck at their desk for the duration...

Just reminding myself that I do love the way I feel after (and even during) a good fast...it's just that other people can make it so darn hard to enjoy!

Good luck all, and especially to @Debs and @Motherof2 and all of those finding it a bit tougher going at the moment for whatever reason. May the fast be with you all!
Just walked home from the auto electricians. My 4 year old ford focus car boot don't open and its going to cost $330 to fix. Apparently its a common problem that's been happening since 2005 and ford still keep using the same locks. Of course the warranty ran out last year. I'm annoyed! :curse:
Thanks for letting me rant. The good news is I will have walked for nearly 2 hours dropping off said car and picking it up. :victory:
Chicken and vege stir fry for dinner and an egg and mushrooms of I can't wait till then.
Xxx
I plan to fast for the first time in a couple of weeks, after a weekend of indulgences - well, 4 days if I am to be honest. I had been going well on carorees suggested plan to treat what could have been the famine reaction that was causing me to fast/binge, but fell in a heap at the end of the week, and it has been almost continuous eating since then. Hmmmmm. :( :(

Best wishes to today's fasters!
That's a weekend full of highlights, @Sallyo.

It's Monday, so it's a 4:3 for me. Broth and tomatoes to get me through the day along with my staple Total 0% FatFree Greek Yoghurt.

I'll have a substantial snack before paddling this evening and then more broth afterwards (if I need it).

Good luck to today's fasters. :clover:
Sallyo congrats, that feast sounded delish!
I'll be joining you fasters in the morning. It will be coffee, tea, water and for dinner chicken breast, asparagus and a salad.
I'm in  omelette is on the horizon, can see it now.
I'm in, 16.8 with low carb. Got a small box of prawns and lettuce to get me through the day. Then tonight I will be consuming a big plate of aubergine bake before heading off to my first exercise class of this week.

Good luck everyone and happy Monday fasting,
WOW @Sallyo, what a huge weekend of celebrations you've had. Happy Birthdays and happy anniversaries to you and your O/H. :clover:
Many congratulations Sallyo on all your celebrations
Well I'm back from five days away for our celebrations for my sons wedding last Friday. We were blessed with a dry day & sunshine with the country house venue looking amazing!
My sons new wife looked beautiful & he wasn't bad looking either
My OH & I were very proud & it was lovely to meet family we hadn't seen for ages & enjoy ourselves. We ate & drank too much which our scales reflected this morning so back fasting to lose the extra weight. Back to low carb & low alcohol & we won't eat today until supper.
Sounds like a wonderful time that you will recall with pleasure for ever @Isis :) would love to see some photos.
I'm in today willingly, overindulged at the weekend

Belated birthday greetings @sallyo to you and yours plus all the other bits to celebrate, sounds an amazing time was had.

@julianna That's your fastday exercise done well done you.

Glad all went according to plan @isis and you've all enjoyed the wedding, some lovely memories for you in years to come, bet you felt really good in your new dress meeting family members you've not seen for ages. :clover:
Congratulations @Sallyo and @Isis, sounds like you both had amazing weekends.

I'm in today for my usual liquid fast - one large glass of water down. I woke up with terrible stomach pain - trapped wind (TMI), just as well I'm not working today! I'll get some housework done then a cup of fennel tea then a trip into town and later my pilates class, just a usual Monday.
Good morning

I'm in today. Actually looked forward to it after a weekend of indulgence.

Good luck to all. :clover:
5pm and contemplating just sticking with the liquid for the day as I can see the light at the end of the fasting tunnel. I've been guzzling water and tea all day and know I'll be up all night weeing as usual, but I would like to think I have the fortitude to see it through.
Good luck all! :clover:
