Friday 15th Feb fast
14 Feb 2013, 10:32
I'm fasting tomorrow as I had an accident this morning involving a pain au chocolat from my favourite bakery as a salve for having to fly back to work! Anyone doing this Friday?

I've organized my meals, oatmeal, yoghurt and raspberries followed by salad and salmon so I don't have to think about it. I find having some yoghurt before bed the night before helps with hunger pangs the following day so I can get through until late afternoon.

Cannot/will not fast on a Friday..Even if I did, those bottles of Yellowtail shiraz would be subliminal messages into my head..."Drink me...Drink meeeeeeeee..."

Hi, I'm fasting today from 2pm through to 8am tomorrow. Can't quite manage a full 24 hours yet and even though on a full day it works out as 2 x 12hr fasts, I don't want to do that on a work day as I am on the go non-stop for 8 hrs and would probably faint without food. Today I finish work at 6pm so this isn't so bad. So far though, I have lost 4.5lbs in 12 days which I'm quite proud of. Hope I can keep it going.

Hi all
I'm fasting today (fast 7) which I'm looking forward to after the excesses of yesterday.

I've had muesli & soya milk for breakfast & will have salmon & veg stir fry for dinner tonight.

Well done precilla on your weight loss; I've not lost much but things are feeling looser :D

Have a good day.

Nice work precilla, I'm trying to avoid weighing myself for a few days for now to see how I go. I have managed not to eat so far today but I'm starting to obsess so I may have to give in soon!

First fast today. Staying off the wine for Lent and I found it has helped curb my appetite.

Third fast of this week for me. Don't usually fast 3 times but due to OH very kindly cooking for me on Monday and it being well over 500 cals I have decided to do an extra fast.

Trying to drink my breakfast of green tea (which I still can't come to terms with, all herbal teas taste like boiled leaves in water whatever they smell like IMO), and looking forward to a cup of coffee soon.

I also do not like herb teas, but have tried Tetley's Red Bush with Vanilla and that is quite drinkable. It is also meant to be as healthy as green tea as it is full of antioxidants etc.

Have a good day if you are fasting. I'm repairing the extra calories of yesterday including dumplings & four chocolates. :o

Snap! On the tea and soon coffee. My weight has been dropping again, due more to looking after 2 lively grandsons (5 and 3) day and night than anything else. Regrouping today whilst fasting, lots to clean and clear up of course. Good luck amigos.

Caroline, I got some apple+cinnamon tea (from Tesco) yesterday and ended up drinking quite a lot of it. It smells just like it sounds and while the taste doesn't quite match up to the real thing (because practically all the calories are missing) it wasn't half bad. Helped make it a very easy fast day.

Real coffee is always good. Are we okay to have plenty of that on a fast day too?
Especielly after a day when I have had myself with too much food I find that I really enjoy fasting. You can immediately do sometihng about your bad conscience... I hope you have a good day today!
