Found todays fast unusually easy today, nothing but herbal tea till 6.30, now feeling stuffed after having my waitrose love life spinach and ricotta cannelloni only 275 calories, with brown bread and a cup of tea with wait for it.... MILK!

may try another tomorrow, need to catch up as I've had 5 days away eating and drinking so no halo fitting for me yet.

Keep going all, the end is nigh

Managed okay for most of today but this evening have felt emptier than an empty thing, and that was after a sizeable portion of chicken casserole that normally fills me up (all 447 calories of it!). Can only put it down to upping the exercise today to include two cycles to and from work of just over 16 miles. Managed the cycling okay (even the ride home that was nearly all uphill) but the moment I stopped, that's when the hunger started!

Less than a few hours to go before hit-the-sack time and then can enjoy a lovely humble bowl of porridge in the morning (salivates at the thought!)

Fasting today as well. I had my half a grapefruit, 1 slice of toast with a swipe of peanut butter then a banana for a snack. I'm feeling hungry today. I did so good, had a lunch meeting and I passed it all up for green beans. :victory: I weigh in this evening, wish me luck.

It sounds like most people skip breakfast then maybe a snack and a nice dinner. Honestly, the fasting thing isn't that bad. I acutally enjoy the feeling of not being bloated and giving my body a rest.

Is there a rule of thumb for how long to fast in between eating and fasting?

Dr M said in his recent interview, 8-12 hours. Some of his experts recommend 24 hours. No one knows for sure though!

I had a real headache yesterday, which ahs continued into today (so maybe isn't fasting related at all).

Did fine until dinner time, when husband had cooked the sticky toffee pudiing I was hoping to have on a feed day! I ate a small portion, which was enough to satisfy me, without going way over my 500 cals.
