I'm sticking to pretty much the same foods on my fast day, just to make it easier. I'm also using loseit.com to track on fast day, but not on eat days. The blackbeans give me the energy to make it through the work day. I try not to go into the work kitchen the counter today is laden with cinnamon rolls, cupcakes, cookies, and potato salad (not sure where that potato salad came from, but it looked good.

What are some of you eating for lunch of fast days?

I'm just skipping lunch...seems to work fine for me since I am busy at work...try to grab a Venti black coffee if I am near a Starbucks.
Albertina Rocks wrote: What a fast day. I lost my car keys (seriously lost) and was blocking someone in so had to pay £125 to have a replacement made and obviously couldn't go anywhere in the meantime (which was several hours i.e. all day). Later I had an unexpected visit from my ex husband last seen 25 years ago! He talked incessantly about himself and showed me endless photos of him and his family. During this time a taxi co. rang to say they'd found my keys. They now no longer work because the replacement deactivates the original.
All this on 500 cals and no alcohol.

I don't drink but I may have got a bottle out & had several glasses!
This was my first Monday fast -- I'm moving it up from Tuesday, so as to have two/three days between fasts. It seems to be working out all right.

I seem to have found a fast-day "menu" that keeps me from getting too hungry. A small dish of muesli for breakfast (without honey, nuts or other extras), a big salad for lunch (mostly greens, with vegetarian "fajitas" mixed in) and a stirfry for dinner (usually half a bag of frozen cauliflower, a clove of garlic and Meatless Ground or an egg). I change up the breakfasts if I feel like a hot meal instead, but lunch and dinner are pretty well set.
This is #7 for me as I enter my fourth week. Tomorrow is my weigh in day, but I had lost 5 lbs in two weeks! Not typically awfully hungry on fast days, but the biggest problem I have is being tired, to the point where I just feel like going to bed by 7:30. I stay hydrated b/c I was getting headaches, but this hasn't helped with being tired. I eat healthy things like eggs, fruit, soup with shrimp and lots of veggies. Any suggestions?
I got through today. Fast 5. They are getting better. I had blackberries as a snack, at mid-day. Then salmon and a lot of veggies for supper. Long day with 2 business meetings. I am almost ready for bed.
