Re going over, I tend to have 600/700 cals rather than 500 and it seems to work for me! If I stop losing then I'll reduce to 500.
Just had my dinner mushroom omelette, took a thermos of soup to work for lunch. Thats it until tues lunch, I've stopped having breakfast I never liked eating first thing. Lots of water, a few black coffees and a fruit tea while at work. Got my car stuck this morning in the work car park so not a good start to Monday. I hate snow.
Fast day for me today but off to do a night shift... not sure how well this is going to work...
Dinner eaten (a delicious quorn lasagne) so now can stop thinking and worrying I won't make it! good luck all...
First day today and I have to be honest and say it's not been as traumatic as I thought! Decided not to eat until I absolutely needed to and am just about to sit down to Highland Stew. Have only had water, a black tea and herbal tea all day. Hope it goes this smoothly on all of my repair days :victory:
I'm in for today! It's my first fast of my second week. Now 7 pm and about to have my fish and peas! Managed to last right through to lunchtime today so please with myself. Feel a bit teary tonight though and will probably go to bed after dinner. Has been a really manic and draining day at work today, also sooo cold so that probably doesn't help.

should have been weighing in at SW tonight but decided to just walk away from that WOE. Had paid in advance for a few weeks but couldn't face the condesending manner of the consultant, also have lost just 2 lbs which is their eyes is not a lot but I am happy. Have also lost 2 inches from waist which is even better!
My first fast day today, not too bad
 Evening everyone, this should have been my 7th fast today, have just found out however that i have been counting my calories in noodles wrong from the start, i have been way over 500cals each fast. i am such an idiot. So there was me thinking i was doing so well and that fasting wasnt too bad, well it wasnt too bad because i was having loads of extra calories. i could bloody cry
I'm in for today too. This is my first fast after 4 weeks off, two weeks hols and two weeks of madness at work. I'd only put on 4 pounds which I find quite remarkable. So this is my second week of fasting and I've managed despite this horrid weather. I also feel very cold and am finding it difficult to get and keep warm.

I've had boiled chicken, salad and roast butternut squash for tea. Enjoy your fish and peas.
:)
Please don't cry. I went to SW for 2 years before I worked out the yoghurt I thought was free wasn't.
Massive eating weekend this weekend, so have really enjoyed today's fast. Had a cup of tea with milk and an apple for lunch, just had a grilled chicken salad with a wee bit of caeser dressing and shared a pack of Graze popcorn with my hubbie(black pepper flavour, yum yum!) Trying to ramp up my fairly non existent weight loss by going for carb free dinners this week. On my 4th week of 5:2, really want this to be a WOL for me so not gonna give in, I'm in it for the long haul :)
Fasting again today, even more then planed, as I dropped my plate with my dinner on the floor

ohh well nevermind, since were moving on thursday I dont have a lot in the house so ended up with a can of chickpeas with a bit of curry powder  300kcal that was, so 200kcal left for hot chocolate and hmm an egg or two maybe.. might just go to bed and be without
Don't worry, sparklevergreen. It can take a while to get things right and you were still probably eating less than on normal days. Have you noticed any changes to your body anyway?

I found today particularly hard. I think my body is rebelling against the cold. I'm sure this'll be easier once we get to summer... I went over by 11 calories by having a piece of bread.. I know I should't've but I don't think it's done me any harm. 3 more days to go! (Till the end of term).
Well, I've survived! Had some roasted courgette, onion and pepper for tea with a bit of smoked mackerel and had loads of black tea and water. Think I've done alright for my first day! Have even joined a gym (something I've been meaning to do for ages!) and will be off there on wednesday.

Happy days all round eh :victory:
