Just having my second cup of Bovril for the day, had a 150cal homemade thai soup for lunch and going to do the hairy dieters spanish chicken dish for dinner.

My last few weeks have been 6:1 as have had visitors on the Thursday last minute which has meant weight loss has stalled the last 3 weeks (I always fast Tuesday and Thursday). Hoping this week I can back into the 5:2 habit.
Hello fellow fasters!
Fasting today, after a day of too much food (Sunday) and two days of moderate food (Saturday, Monday).
I'm at 180 calories so far, had no breaky -just my coffee- and a veggie lunch.
I have just completed my first fasting day - started yesterday because I had a huge lunch and just didn't feel hungry the rest of the day. I always eat breakfast, so had porage made with water (not as nice as when made with milk) and just eaten my evening meal. I have been calorie counting for some time, but not had to keep within the 500 limit and I am slightly over at 517 cals. Looking forward to Friday, now I am getting used to the calculations!
Ive just started today, and have until about an hour ago done really well..i walked the dogs for an hour and started feeling very shaky and came home and raided my Graze Box, a handfull of nuts..and felt ive ruined day one already.hopefully these shaky moments will get less as time goes on.Any tips would be very gratefull :curse:

You won't go into 'starvation mode' until you've done at least several consecutive days fasting.
Just had my only meal of the day- 1.5 small homemade low-fat turkey burgers with a huge pile of salad leaves! This is where I struggle. Once I have eaten, I feel like eating more. Very pleased with how today has gone. Just a few hours to get through until bed time.

Anyone else find the evenings the worst?
I definitely do!

Have just demolished an omelette having eaten nothing all day and am now desperately trying to avoid the kitchen. I will definitely be having an early night tonight! I may go out for a walk or do some cleaning AAAARGH!
Yes I have considered cleaning the house a little tonight.
I have just had my first cup of tea with skimmed milk today, a huge mug... and this seems to have filled me quite a lot!

It does seem a bit of a waste of evenings though to go to bed so early, I suppose I could get up earlier tomorrow and work out before work to be super effective!

Glad I'm not the only one who struggles with evening munchies.
Fasting today, and it has been tough...have felt hungry all day and have already eaten my 500 cals for lunch and dinnervat work so think it will be an early night for me tonight!
Hello..... * sneaks back in for a peak.

Fasted again today, first time in nearly two weeks.

Easter was an indulgence, found it hard to get back on it.

I fasted today and have had less than 600 cals, but it was hard work and I had breakfast, lunch and Tea, I was marvin!

Still I only had 1000 cals yesterday as it was first day back on healthy eating so that made a difference, I want to be a really good boy this week and try and claw back some of the excess before I step on the scales again.

It's not strict 5:2 I know, but I'll get back on track next week!

I have the breaking strain of a Kit Kat, atill it was nice, but I proved the point if I eat normally I put on about 4lb a week!!!! Even after 8 weeks of 4:3! How is everyone else?? All good I hope, Es? How you doing lady?
Hey Bob, good to see you again!!!
Hi everyone

second fast done today! first was on Sunday. Must admit I have found today harder than the first only because i have been at work! feeling a bit sad when I came home as my energy levels were zapped and couldnt even be bothered playing with my one year old  I hope this passes dont want to be miserable two days out of every week!

hope everyone had a good fast day sorry for my moan!
Moan away, that's what we're here for.
I find that I feel better after I had my lunch and my dinner so I plan my chores and work around my meals.

P.S. 445 calories consumed, left some for later when I'll feel like I hadn't eaten for a month, LOL!
Hi folks

Not normally a Tuesday faster but needed to swop my days round so I am not fasting on my birthday!

It has gone really well so far and I haven't felt that hungry - did give someone on the train this morning a filthy look as they were eating something that had a lovely smell and it made me feel a bit envious.

But apart from that was ok - hope all went well for you.
Made through today with just some home made veg soup, and zero cal noodles at lunchtime and a Roast Beef salad for dinner. I was surprised how many calories MFP is telling me for my 130g of lean beef, so am down to 50 cals for the rest of the evening, ah well an early night with some low cal hot choc.
