Crikey its 7 AM and I seem to be the first Faster to declare themselves Fasting today !
I'm in, nothing till a Soup when the rumblings get too bad, then a big Prawn Salad for dinner. Quite a lot of my plans for today were based on the sun shining, which isn't the case, so I suspect I'll be popping on here.

Well done Sian for starting us off, I had just noticed the same thing as you. What a dozy lot the Tuesday fasters must be (I am usually a Monday faster).

Nothing for me except liquids (I do allow myself milk in them) until this evening. Shouldn't be too hard though I did have a bit of a carb-fest last night (bread and butter pudding mmmm!) so we shall see. Squash (the game not the drink!) this afternoon, so that's my HIIT sorted too...

I'm here - just took a few minutes to check the news about Boston - very sad. Maintenance fast so no calorie restriction, just no breakfast & eat sensibly!

Fasting here too, but woke with a nasty cold, so not sure I should do it. Going to play it by ear though and see how I go.

Hi All,
3rd week 6th fast. Not sure whether to fast or not today, I weighed myself yesterday morning and had put on 1lb (hardly surprising, the amount I ate and drank at the weekend!) so I did an impromptu fast, thinking that I would do 4:3 this week. To my surprise, this morning I had lost that 1lb and another to boot so have had a black tea with 1% milk (chai) and a green tea so far and will see how I go. I am still at that beginners stage where I find myself hopping on the scales more than I should.

My 7th fast today, and will be having soups today. Not only are they already calorie counted for me but you benefit from the sieve effect too so double bonus as far as I can tell. Hope everyone has a good day.

My thoughts and prayers are with all those effected by the Boston bombings.x

I'm on my third fast today. Nothing till dinner when I get home which is going to be a Quorn cottage pie (364 calories).

Second week, second day, which I have officially named Angry Tuesday as last week I was in a right mood by about lunchtime.

Hoping that wears off soon and I can just go back to it being Fasting Tuesday!
Signing in from Cyprus - a thunderstorm passed through overnight and it was very cold this morning so it was porage made with water before I went on my 'power walk'. I have just made soup for lunch and not sure what to have this evening. My third fast and I have cut down to 3 meals a day (I am a grazer so that's a big step for me!). I watched the Michael Mosley video about exercise last night - certainly given me a few ideas, especially the one about keeping on the move!

I'm in! I'm usually a Monday faster but had a blow-out yesterday :(

Fasted on peppermint tea and water until about 5:30 then received a msg from my OH asking me to come to the pub to join in with the wake of a local (I didn't know him). So off I went... three beers and a curry later.... D'OH!!!
Went to bed telling myself that it wasn't too bad as it was still a 22hr fast, and that I was a good person for supporting OH....but feeling guilty as hell this morning. Hence the reason for an impromptu Tues fast.

Annoyingly, I'm supposed to be fasting tomorrow as well as my usual Thurs fast will clash with a work trip to London (which always includes catch-up lunches/coffees/beers).

Argggghhh! Will have to do a good couple of sessions at the gym this week to sort myself out!

Sorry for the whinge and good luck to my fellow Tuesday fasters!

I am also fasting today rather than yesterday when I met friends for beading & chocolate biscuits but ate only two. I have had my first black coffee of the day & I will increase my fluid intake today because I think I didn't drink enough last fast day that may have affected my weight loss last weigh in. I will eat my calories for supper tonight.

I am trying more water today, I don't drink enough, and I eat allot of salt, so I am going to try and eat less salt and drink more water and see if it doesn't help me get going again, as I have a bit of a barrier on the 17st front, I can't seem to cross it! ( I know all the reasons, it's not a plateau it's me getting bored and not doing things correctly!

I think I figured out another reason, both weeks I made meals with home made stock from bones etc, with fat skimmed, I have not done well, I think the calories are higher that I figure, by quite a margin I reckon, I know fat is scary calories per gram, so I am going to avoid that in future, the down side stock cubes are nearly all salt, so out goes my oxo cube 11 cals lunch on a fast day! Nothing is ever straight forward is it!
This is my first fast day (tuesday and thursday) and I am very curious how the day will run. I'm a grazer, so I have two carrots: one for breakfast and one for lunch and for dinner a crab salad I've made ​​yesterday.
