Hi all. so far i've been pretty weak and rubbish with the fasting but today i am determined. i'm off work so have had lots of water, decaff coffee, one small yoghurt (80 calories) and a cuppa soup (90 calories). i am keeping busy - house cleaning is the key lol! my bathroom and loo are shining and i've steamed the floors. i guess Fridays needs to be a new fast day for me as it's usually thursdays and i fall apart as soon as i get home from work. and i love red wine too much LOL.
IDK if I'm eating too much on feed days, or if it's the allergies meds I'm taking but the scale is just sitting there. I was trying for 4:3 this week, but Wed was a fail in fast terms but at least I was still way under TDEE. I'm off work at noon today so I can run errands and then go home and powerclearn before my ILs show up. MIL told us she's bring a turkey to roast tomorrow at my house and invited every other family member over. O.o
nodakmom...enjoy the turkey with the family and don't worry about the calories...so many people have found a sudden drop in weight after having a couple of extravagant days...you never know!
I'm struggling today - I think because I have poached a chicken for tonight's dinner and the smell is filling the house! Still...only 2 hours to go until dinner time. Huzzah!
i am roasting a huge leg of lamb with Moroccan spices. as i'm fasting i won't be touching it today but mark my words, tomorrow i will be stuffing slices of it in a pitta bread with chilli and salad. this evening's dinner will be miso soup with beansprouts and pak choy and two slivers of duck breast with no skin.
I'm fasting today, too, but only because I slept too late to make lunch before heading to work. Since I overate last night I'm not hungry yet :) Going out tonight for a friend's birthday so will probably overindulge again. Maybe that should be my IF plan: fast all day so I can eat all I want until bedtime.... Somehow I don't think I'll lose weight that way.
I've almost completed my 3rd fast day this week, generally I do Mon & Wed but as I had the day off and no plans I thought "why not do another fast'! I've been fasting about 4 weeks after losing 21 pounds on the eat clean diet, I'm now at 23 pounds... I love the freedom it gives me & don't suffer from weight gain after a social event which is so much better. This week I decided to leave my 500 cals until the evening, this has worked MUCH better for me. Before I was finding eating at other times just made me hungry. ;-) Xx
Today is my first day fasting ever! I'm pretty excited and motivated. I'm just drinking water and plan to have a light dinner before work (I work graveyard). Hopefully I can last!
Fasting over and done, off to bed!!! Good job everyone!!!
I also did my first fast yesterday and it was fine. Yes, I was hungry around lunchtime and early afternoon but it did wear off to the point that I wasn't bothered by it.

I had an early dinner. Normal day today. I won't be able to stick to the same two days fasting every week as there are too many variables but I can decide at the start of each week which days I will be fasting.

Feel motivated and aware of not being a little piggy today but just eating normally.
