Fasting today Friday 26 April

Where are all the Friday fasters? Doing my third fast this week, normally do Monday and Thursday but yesterday was a Public Holiday so switched things around. Going well so far. Day off work today so went to the gym this morning and then at the hairdresser this afternoon. It's all about me today! I am looking forward to my weekly weigh in tomorrow morning, I have been a bit static for the last few weeks but feel as though things are on the move again in the weight and waistline department. Happy Friday fasting.
Hi, I'm here *waves across the border*.
I'm also having a change from my normal Mon/Thurs and have gone 4:3 this week, so I could have Anzac Day off (and eat copious amounts of anzac biscuits - although I only managed 3 or 4, well below my old normal!)
Bit peckish now it's lunchtime, so having a cup of green jasmine tea as "lunch". I'm also really cold today, even though it's 20 degrees and sunny, I'm in jeans and jumper and still cold. Not looking forward to winter.
Second fast day ever today.

I only started on Wednesday. Coped pretty well and thought I would do a second today.

Plan on doing Mondays and Wednesdays eventually.

Today is also a test as to how I will cope normally, as my first day, Wednesday was a full on day, keeping me distracted and busy.
Very interesting you say you are cold Katamac. When I first started on here in February there was lots of talk about how cold people were (mostly in England, where they were having a very cold winter) but we were sweltering through a hot and steamy February so I didn't think much of it but now I know just what they mean. I too am in jeans and a cotton jumper even though it is around 20 degrees and sunny here in Sydney today. Perhaps they weren't all winging poms then! (I am a Pom so I feel qualified to say that.....)
Good luck with your second Fast day Dude It does get easier over time and I find a quick browse here when the tummy rumbles (inevitably) hit is a great distraction tool. The inspirational Progress reports from some of the long term users should give you some motivation to carry on.
Yes - third for the week here! Looking forward to two days straight of breakfast.

Dude, I also pop in here when I'm needing a distraction, find it helps which seems a bit silly seeing it's a focus on the fact that I'm not eating, but it works.
Lucy1984, I'm also really looking forward to the weekend and two days of eating in a row. I'm going to go back to 2 days fasting next week, but do the fasts as straight 36 hours water only. Think it'll be easier for me longterm, finding 3 days a bit much. Although that said, I'm doing fine today, finding it easier than Wednesday by a long way (which was my worst fast day so far, 2 months in, or else I've got rose coloured glasses for how I found the first few weeks.)
I'm fasting today, 4th one. Have weighed in this morning and lost 5.8 pounds :grin: enjoying this WOL :like:

I am fasting today as I didn't manage on Wednesday. :cry: I had joined a fasting group of friends on Facebook but they put me down that day when I asked to stop posting stuff about happy fatty foods on their days off as I am fasting then. They said I should leave the group and they wanted to celebrate their days off and not be inhibited by someone else trying to fast. And that I was too sensitive. Anyway, that's why I have joined here and hope to get more support here :grin:

My first ever fast day today! I think I'll normally do Tuesdays and Thursdays but because of Anzac Day I decided to do friday instead. I decided to do three small meals and I feel OK but I might try just one evening meal next time because my stomach was growling at me ALL day! I worked today as well so it was good to know I can get through work on a fast day.
I am fasting today, had a satsuma and will now try and hold out till dinner. If I get ravenous I will have a boiled egg on a salad of lettuce, cucumber and tomato with a squeeze of lemon juice, salt and black pepper mid pm. Have a great fast day all :smile:
Yes, I'm fasting today too. I'm on here delaying all the house cleaning I need to do. Every time I look up from the screen I see the dirty windows being highlighted by the sunshine! Why don't I get that house cleaning bug on fast days that others talk about?
I did it! My first FAST!

And I'm so impressed!I was really worried how I will cope as I am used to eating 6 times a day. yes, small meals, but I think ended up eating more calories by the end of the day.
I decided not to eat until dinner. And I managed really well for 20 hours, the last 3 was challenging because I found it difficult to focus.
In total I had 4.5 l of water/tea/coffee
Thank you for the great advice of planning ahead, drink water when you are hungry, and stay busy.
I am actually excited about waking up tomorrow as to how I will feel!
