Fasting today - Tuesday 7 May

My second fast day in a row. I like to do them this way as it gets them out of the way and I get on a roll. I actually really look forward to my fasting days. I feel sharper and more focussed and don't really get too hungry. It's all good. Good luck to all you Tuesday fasters out there!
Hi Esmeralda and all the other fasters,

I'm with you, although the idea of two consecutive days frightens me. I like to spread them over the week. So happy fasting to all of you out there!

Usually do Monday, but the long weekend made it easier to do today instead. I'm quite glad to be here though because our builders finished last Friday so we had a hugely calorific celebration that night. Then I had wine on Saturday and Sunday. Mind you, I totted everything up on MFP, only to find it wasn't as bad as I thought (apart from Friday). Yay & phew! :wink:
I'm in this morning. Have had a few days of lovely 'normal' (NOT piggish and not calorie counted either) eating and enjoyed it; now I'm ready for a nice fast day. Funny how we start to look forward to them :cool:
Yep I'm in too. Tricky day sorting out funeral arrangements for my mother in law who died (peacefully and expected) on Saturday morning, but don't want to use that as an "excuse" as I'm doing really well (as in losing weight) at the moment.
I'm in! Today will be my 3rd fast, going to try to go straight til dinner without food, but I am taking a 40 cal cup soup to work with me in case I'm seriously flagging by lunch time!
It's a Tuesday fast for me too, having meatballs for tea which I'm going to make this morning. I love the smell it brings to the house, it transports me to my Mum and Dad's kitchen; very comforting!
Another Tuesday faster here. I have a 300 cal stir fry dinner planned and I baked a loaf of Soft Cheese Bread (check out Peter Reinhart's Artisan Breads Everyday) I thought I could hang out till tomorrow to eat some bread but it just smells too yummy (the cheese and chive smell is wafting through the house). So with a couple of hundred calories to spare I sat down and worked out the calorie count. It turns out I can have approx 60g of bread with my dinner. Sweet. :grin:
I'm fasting today too, did not eat badly over the weekend, but wine was consumed each day :( so back to lots of water and ginger tea today, looking forward to my salmon salad tonight

I'm in - beautiful day for it. Looking forward to sorting out the excesses of the long weekend, and getting lots of work done.
I'm in. I normally do Monday but the bank holiday would have set me up to fail! Had a rather calorific 3 day weekend with a meal out Saturday, 2 children's parties back to back on Sunday and BBQ and beer while clearing the garden yesterday. Weight loss is inevitably dissapointing, but not surprising. I need today's fast to clear out my body, although I'm starving already and it's only 7.30am :0/
I'm in today and trying to hold out as long as possible, aiming for breakfast tomorrow morning :p
I'm here. Maintenance fast again, getting some serious miles in on new bike this morning in the perfect conditions (which were wasted yesterday by weeding) then a small lunch and dinner but no calorie counting (or wine...)
I'm in today, instead of yesterday. Been away for the weekend and have dropped another pound.
Just filled another bag of clothes for the charity shop and now have very little choice as to what to wear!
So, Miso soup at lunchtime, then either cheat's chilli or chickpea tagine for tea....decisions, decisions!

Another attempt of fast number 7! Hubby has been told not to bring anything home that might tempt me!

Feeling a little down as I feel like a failure! After yesterday failed attempt at fasting I can't help but feel so cross at myself! I desperately need to lose weight yet I can't control my eating! Lets see how things go today. I feel a little off the hunger pains are really bad and its only 7.55! I have a busy day today, shopping, a runs and uni to see my supervisor. Trying to hold off eating for as long as possible.
