Dude wrote: Two days fasting in a row for your first week! That's pretty hard core. Best of luck! :)

More timing than judgement - I aim to be far less hard core in the weeks to come! Although, Glorious Soup - Tuscan Chicken and Orzo at a tiny 120 cals a pot has made my day! Most of the way through it now. Hope your day is going well.
I was planning on fasting tomorrow but I will be out with friends and I don't think I can follow through with the 500 cal so I'm fasting today. Feeling a bit sick, my tonsils are hurting so maybe lots of tea a chicken noodle soup will help anyway.
I'm fasting today too here in Montreal. So far I've had 2 cups of black coffee and lots of water.
I've been busy today so have been ok. Waiting for my OH to come home and then we will go for a walk, after which I will have dinner, although I'm very tempted to try to leave eating until breakfast?!
I'm in today too. Normal fast days are Monday and Wednesday - hate having just one non-fast day between but can't be avoided this week as am off to London tomorrow and will be having dinner out.
Me too. I usually do fast days during work days, I thought it must be easier if most of the fast day I'm not at home = near my kitchen... Anyway, today I was off work and because I'll be like that the rest of the week too, I decided to fast today.

I'm doing quite ok I think. Today was a different fast day anyway: usually I have had my 500 or a bit less calories on breakfast and the rest of the day just green or white tea. Today I kept myself busy and drank just a cup of tea for breakfast, then cleaned the house, then went jogging, then took a shower, then went walking the dogs...and then it was an afternoon and I was still feeling fine. But then I felt I had to eat, and ate maybe 250 kcal meal (lots of fresh cucumber, two slices dark bread, little bit of low fat ham, cottage cheese).

After that I was struggling with the thought not to eat anything else today. But eventually I ate (with my family) a light evening meal - well they ate more, I ate just one small boiled potato with some fish, green salad and again, cottage cheese. Potato 50 kcal, fish maybe 100 or a bit less, cottage cheese 50. Food tasted great and I felt quite full afterwards.

But now, few hours later, I'm bit hungry. And this I usually am not, when I only eat one meal (breakfast). So I think I'll go back to do fast days like that. Or will save my allowed cals till one evening meal.

I'm so happy it's nearly bedtime here in Finland now, so soon I'll just go to bed and hope to get a good night sleep. I usually sleep very well after fast day, hope tonight too even though I feel a bit disappointed with myself because I ate today twice! I know there's no need to feel like that but... :?:

I wish you all happy fasting and good night! I think this forum is a really great place to share and get support.

Best wishes
NaTa
