Sunshine, I don't know your recipe but there is a fantastic recipe for chick peas from Lesvos. They add tomato, carrots, thyme and ouzo! Yes, ouzo!!!
I never fancied chick peas but after trying this recipe I changed my mind in no time (or should I say "in a bite's time"?).

Suddenly not looking forward to going to the dentist (is there anyone who really does? LOL) I'm going to eat breakfast at about 9:30 and have my 1 meal this morning since I won't be able to eat the rest of the day after my appt. It should be interesting tonight, since that's the hardest time of day for me, I may have to drink a cup of broth.
I normally fast Tuesdays and Thursdays however we were out with friends for lunch yesterday and I could not resist the food so its no today and tomorrow.

As one of the best ways for me not to think of food is to exercise I did a weights session and a 20minutes HIIT run this morning and tomorrow I will be doing a 2K swim followed by a core conditioning class. I will be very interested to see how I get on with the swim following today's fast and also how hungry I am by tomorrow night. I just hope can keep to the plan.

Hi guys,

I am on my 3rd fast day. Going well so far. Finding Weds easier than Monday.
Had a veggie fritta for lunch(about 160) with roast parnips(about 85cal).

Going to have soup for dinner.

I am beginning to get bored at work today, and really want tea and a cookie to brighten up my day. But I wont. Sticking with lots of water.
Week 1 fast 2, a little more difficult then the first one... counting the hours until dinner...
I am fasting today and what is left of the day :smile: - For me it is easy not eating anything before dinner. I have tried to split between breakfast and dinner, but like a lot of you I am more hungry during the day then :smile:
Fasting here too. Did a tough boot camp boxing workout this morning & was afraid I'd be starving, but doing ok. May add a 3rd fasting day this week...we'll see.
Almost the end of the day, in a bit i'm going to eat my apple... I have to say this second fast is harder than the first, I feel more hungry!! I hope the next is better!
I've completed my second fast of week 16. It is definitely quite easy to do this now. I save all my calories for dinner. Today I had an M&S fragrant chicken curry and that left enough spare calories to have a chocolate biscuit. Yum.
