Week 4 fast 2. Lets the games begin:)

Who else is on today?
I am in.week three ,fast 8 .i did 4.3 the first two weeks,not sure if I will try that this week.so far feel good.i like my Wednesday fasts.seems easier than Monday.

I'm fasting, too. Usually I'm looking for things to distract me from my hunger when I fast, but today I'm going to use hunger to distract me from this boring all day meeting I'm in.
Me too. I'm trying a Monday and Wednesday fast this week because I am finding it much easier to fast on work days (I work Monday-Wednesday) because there are no temptations in the office. This is my 8th week (with two weeks off in the middle when we took holidays).
3rd week of 5:2, currently 12 hours into my first 36hr liquids-only fast. Woke up this morning a little depressed with life in general so I'm not sure if I'll make it through - trying to stay positive and (above all) stay busy!!
Count me in (actually it will be tomorrow yet for me, it's still Tuesday here). I have a dental appointment to replace some fillings and the dentist said I won't be able to eat for the rest of the day afterward. I said, that's fine! lol
I am on my second week of trying the 5:2 system, going well so far except I am hungry by the evening and I can't get to sleep! It is a real pain. Any suggestions?
I'm in. Normally I water fast until dinner and then eat my 500cal. Today I have really struggled so I got a smoothie that was 200 cal and have bought a very very low cal soup for dinner (like 50 cal for a serve and there are 2 serves in the pot). So weirdly I'll probably end up well under my 500 cals today even though I ate earlier than normal for me.
I'm fasting today too. It's my week 4; usually I do Mondays and Thursdays but tomorrow we are going to have a long weekend ;) Feeling great now...
I'm in! Collecting my dad from Gatwick later (he lives in Sweden). I've not seen him since last year, and I haven't told him I've lost weight - can't wait to see his face!
Me too! First fast day - I've even got my husband involved! Enjoying a nice white tea now before work, instead of the usual coffee loaded with cream and sugar. I've been wanting to quit the coffee for years, but keep yoyo-ing back to it, so maybe this 5:2 diet will provide the impetus to ditch it.

So it's raw cauliflower, carrot, cucumber and celery with some soya mayo and smoked tofu for lunch, then a hearty tomato veg soup for dinner.

@Swedey - enjoy your visit with your dad and the look on his face. I'm very impressed with your weight loss so far.

I'm in :) I'm swapping days this week, normally I'm a Mon / Thursday girl, but am having to adjust as friends coming for lunch tomorrow. But hey ho, got a busy day painting outside in the sunshine to keep my mind off it . Good luck everyone :) x
I'm fasting today. I'm only really on week 2. My first attempt at 500 calls made me really poorly so I'm sticking to 700 for now until my body gets used to it and I dare to take it back down to 500! Looking forward to the challenge but not the hunger! Need to get rid of the hula hoops from my desk draw too. Don't need that temptation all day. :bugeyes:

I had this on my last fast and I found eating a few grapes really made me feel better and was barely any extra calories.
