I'm past the danger zone now - boys are fed, and I'm watching Nigella Express - don't really know why I'm torturing myself like this, but I'm getting some great ideas for weekend feasting.

TML, let me know what you think of the Jamesons and apple juice. I'd definitely have it again.
Fasting today, Thursday. Miserable cold day I hate winter! Drinking green tea and warm water and working away.
I had another PB on the scales this morning - hurrah. I wish I didnt have to leave it til Tuesday to fast again, but that's life, and I'm really looking forward to the long weekend. I love the buzzy feeling the morning after a liquid fast, and I'm raring to change the world today - well my little corner anyway.
See you all later
Just like you Minumonline I loved the way I felt when I finally broke my fast on my Mon-Wed fast. So full of energy and happy almost all day!
I'm quite hungry now but I'm hoping that I can go to bed relatively early tonight (after a Dress Rehearsal) and then I have meetings tomorrow morning which will keep me occupied until I break my fast at lunch time.
Looking forward to weighing myself on Saturday morning. If I've lost weight I might be able to motivate myself to NOT overeat this weekend!!
I have to ask, how many stats (bank holidays) have there been in England recently? Seems to be regularly mentioned that its interfering with fasting plans
I've got cravings for salt beef bagels, like I used to have for lunch when I worked in Brick Lane in London... so I've got some salt beef which I'll cook tomorrow morning, and a bagel recipe all lined up, and that's lunch tomorrow. http://www.seriouseats.com/2011/03/how- ... ecipe.html
Taking some strain now - not hungry, but just all cranky and really don't feel like working, but I've got a fair bit I need to do before I down tools for the night.
About to have my porridge
my next fast is Tuesday after the bank holiday.
Juliewil in the uk we have most of our bank holidays in the spring, 2 at Easter and 2 in May; then 1 in August and 3 at Christmas/New Year making a total of 8. I think it is less than many countries have.
Good luck to all of you fasting today
Thanks Jacksati, just clustered together I see. We have 11 here in NZ, there is one next weekend, Queens Birthday. Then what always seems like a long haul to 3rd week of October when we have Labour Weekend
Good luck to anyone fasting today!

I survived my 36 hours & I'm just about to have my porridge which I'm sure will taste like heaven! Fortunatley we had friends call round for a catch up last night & they didn't go home until 11.30pm so my evening danger zone passed un-noticed
Still not brave enough to venture on to the scales after my week of holidaying followed by a week of still thinking I was on holiday I think I might leave that until next week
Woke up with an awful headache in the early hours of this morning. I do adhoc work on Thursdays/Fridays - called in to say I'd be in a bit later and they said they didn't need me today - so that's a result really. Head feeling better now (obviously otherwise I'd not be here!) but I'm going to have an easy day. Few catch up jobs around the house but will take it slowly. I know I won't be able to do a 36er today, will try and restrict to 500 cals... but I know that sometimes a few slices of simple toast and butter help my headaches, so I'm just going to do what I feel is right. Will hope to make up for it next week - but am meeting Doodle again for tea and cake on Monday, so that's another 36er gone!! Hey, so what, in the words of GMH "pass me the cake, I'm on a diet" - don't you just LOVE that signature !! (Sorry, got a bit sidetracked there)
Good luck all you 36ers, will be back with you again next week
