15 hours into my second ever liquids fast. I'll have a busy day so I'm not anticipating any issues... until tonight that is! As usual evenings are my downfall so I'll just have to wait and see if I can make it to wednesday morning on only green tea and stock cubes. I have a technical rehearsal for a show I'm working on today and my peers are sure to have lollies floating around the theatre to keep energy up. Just have to remember that tomorrow is a feed day and today is not :D
Liquid fasting-is that water/black tea or coffee or is it fruit juice or soup as well??
Some of us are doing water/black tea coffee only, others at having soups as well. All up to the individual
I am going as long as I can on tea, broth, herbal teas and see how I feel by following pm meal. Only 2nd liquid for me and hoping to see myself back on earlier weight loss track. I do consume much lower calories and have a soup for the evening ready to go if needed. Will review if I continue fluids next fast according to tape measure clothes etc as week progresses. I was just curious to see what it was like, if i could do it and if I could bump things along. Feel fine but if I didn't I'd switch to 5:2 regime
36hr fast done! Waiting to have my bagel when I get to work, very early start as baby woke at 5.30! Ugh! Thought I was going to have a headache, but it's subsided already so happy days! Lowest weight ever on the scale this morning (although doesn't really count), but has already made this a good day! Tried on my swimming costume yesterday as am hoping to go on thursday and could see such a difference in my size it was very motivating! See you all thurs, good luck everyone fasting today :0)
Hi All

Great to see everyones progress and success. I completed 40 hrs mostly liquid fasting today. I say mostly as I still have coffe with trim milk, and ate one square of Whittakers 72% dark ghana chocolate. Best chocolate ever, and its fair trade as well. Would have been 36 at 0800, but didnt have a chance to eat until 1000, so just thought Id push thru until lunch. Will do a standard 500 cal fast on wed, will see how I feel at tea time, might make it another 36er
About to go and make bacon and blue cheese risotto for tea
 Fell off the 36 wagon last night... in shame I'm here to confess. Was making myself a hot veg stock drink at about 8pm (just 28hrs since my last meal) and there, in front of me, large as life, was the crunchy peanbut butter jar. Now who on earth put it in that cupboard - they'll pay the price, believe me  Tell you what though, spread thinly (ish) on a slice of white bread it was deeeeeeeeeeeeeelicious. Hey ho, never mind - next 36er on Thursday (hopefully without the peanut butter) Exits stage left with head hanging low
9 hours left... so hungry and it seems like EVERYONE around me in the library is munching on some delicious snack.
Not looking forward to going home though, where the pantry calls my name and asks me to eat something from it...
Have yet to try a liquid fast but might do one tomorrow! Are you finding that your weight loss is greater now that you have incorporated liquid fasting instead of 500cal fasting?!

Good luck everyone!
Ooh, Suchard, don't be hard on yourself, you were still easily under 500 calories!
I'm all done too. It was my fourth all liquid fast and I think this is the way I will be fasting until I am on Maintenence and then I will have a rethink.

No weight lost this week but half an inch on my waist and an inch of my hips.

Suchard that is barely falling off the wagon. It's way less than the calorie allowance on a regular fasting day.

Good luck to all those fasting today :)

Consider yourself forgiven
I'm in for my usual Tuesday and Thursday 36 hours. I can't believe that this topic is up to page 5 and it's only Tuesday!
Love reading everyone's news about their weekends! I'd love to try sailing although not sure about the roller derby! My Saturday night was spent going down the Thames, eating and drinking, so I definately need this fast!
Suchard007, don't worry about not doing a 36er, there is always tomorrow
Redhead, I also watched the fat, sick and nearly died (after your previous post on another topic) and I am intrigued by juicing and prepared to give it a go. I probably will have to get myself a juicer as I only have a blender, and that adds the pulp? (Not sure if you need that bit?? :?: )
Suchard you would have been fine bet you find it is so
Ah well, it's still a success as under 500 cals! It's a win/win with 36hr fasting!
