I'm in today. Not in work today and got quite a list to work through so I'm going to make sure I get on with it and try not to spend too much time on here! Sure I'll pop back in from time to time though.

Unlike most people I find fasting on days when I'm at home easier as I can keep going and making myself drinks, don't always need to be mentally focussed (and again unlike most people I don't find I'm more alert on fast days) and when I'm at work I feel so much better if I've had my morning porridge or smoothie. Fasting days are my 'low' days, unfortunately still as much in productivity as calories, so I'd rather the low productivity be at home rather than at work at the mo!

Contemplating fasting friday, too to give me a 4:3 week but may be doing a couple of hours digging so I'll see how I feel.

Have a good day, folks!
I'm in too. Sipping my black coffee now & then heading to gym. Haven't planned what I'll eat later but find as the weeks pass I'm not as anxious about food and don't feel so hungry as I did at the start ....good luck all!
I'm in, the second of the week. It seems that my body knows that it's fast day. I usually is hyngry at breakfast but on fast days I couldn't eat anything even if I wanted to. I have no idea what will be my only mail of the day as I still have problems to eat 500 cal during the day.
I'm in as well. I think I'll do Mondays and Wednesdays from now on.

Good luck everyone :)
Morning all! Been up for an hour or so and nothing has yet passed my lips.
I know its bad and I ought to hydrate but as soon as I have my first pint of water my stomach is ready for some food.
Bought some zero noodles on Monday so plan to try those for dinner. Found some reduced Mediterranean veggies at Marks and Sparks yesterday so going to enjoy those for lunch. It's so cold and windy in Kent today :-(
Fast #2 for the week today. I think I'll try a 160 cal. protein shake that I have in the fridge. Usually I break my fast with a 100 cal greek yogurt with oat bran stirred in. That is very satisfying...not sure the shake will be the same. We'll see. Also today will be day 3 of boot camp for the week. I'll no doubt eat more like 600 cals today since I've been working out hard this week.

Have a good day all!
I have a question and don't want to open a topic especially for it, I can't drink broth without anything in it but I have light broth and tapioca and I can't find anything about the calories in tapioca, just that it is gluten free. Does someone knows more about it ?
dont know about tapioca but Im fasting today. am waiting for darling daughter to get out of bed so that I can be busy today & paint her room. am already dreaming about food & its not even 10am yet! good luck everyone. x
I'm in as well for my second fast of the week. I notice its harder to fast when it aint Sunny outside, i tend to drink loads of water while enjoying the sun and have a hard time when i'm not.

Chook, i wish you good luck with the mammogram tomorrow!

Petra
Me too. Finding it very hard though, feel dizzy and a bit sick. Headache lurking. Want to cry.

Sorry for feeling sorry for myself! I'll have a mint tea, that might help a bit. And do some ironing while watching telly. Mind numbing helps.

Really not good today. But I don't want to do tomorrow or Friday (plans), so will have to get on with it. Grrr.
Oh yes I am fasting! I am also starving!!! I woke up hungry, LOL! Lunch is in 45 minutes so I'm trying to distract meself by posting here and chatting online with a friend.
What did you say? Work? Housework? Oh, I'm sorry, my English no veri nice, don't anderstand what that words mean...
39 hours through a 60 hour liquid only fast! Interested to see if there's any difference. So far so good, staying busy, working both jobs today and did the same yesterday. So will keep me busy until bedtime! Just focussing on the toast for breakfast tomorrow!!
I'm in too...lovely and warm here, 30 degrees and I've had a swim in the pool....
Was going to make corned beef hash 230 cals, for dinner, but one DH &I think it will be a big salad, I can have feta and olives for less than 400 cals. Still need my evening options choc drink though.
I'm in as well

Swedey - stick with it. The rubbish feelings will pass. Think how glad you will be you stuck it when its over!!

I've had 2 cups hot water with lemon and honey (2 tsps of honey, one per mug, stole 35 calories hmph)

4 mushrooms and 4 celery sticks as snacks to keep me going.

so I reckon I have 400 calories left. HOPE I will make it to my evening meal on nothing else.

weigh in day tomorrow. I am also doing the 30 day shred.

keep going everyone
My husband and I are in today because we are off to Germany by train tomorrow, hence that change of fasting day for us. Second fast of our 21st week and I have just managed to get back to the weight I had reached before going on a cruise in May and gaining 9 pounds in a fortnight! Two weeks to put it on - four weeks to get it off, so I won't be doing that again! Dinner tonight may be over 500 calories because the fridge needs to be emptied, so probably a fairly random collection of food will be on the table!

Manderley: According to my 'Rosemary Conley A-Z of fat and calories', (Yes, I confess - I used to be a fanatical calorie-counter, but gave it up in week four of this WOE.) Tapioca has 368cal per 100g (uncooked) and 132cal per 100g (boiled). Hope this helps.

To all of those fasting today, some of whom are struggling, keep going! You know it's worth it! Onwards and downwards!
